Guild Wars 2: Is the Living World Harming Rather Than Helping?

Guild Wars 2’s Living World Season 3 is right around the corner and in this week’s column, it would be rude not to discuss such an arrival. With Season 2 having begun on July 1, 2014 and culminating in the launch of Heart of Thorns, it’s with relief that Season 3 is finally on the horizon. NYChrisG Crowned Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Champion at Evo 2016

The Evo 2016 Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 finals recently drew to a close, and Christopher “NYChrisG” Gonzalez walked away the victor. His opponent, last year’s champion Nicolas “Kane Blueriver” Gonzalez, came in looking strong, fighting his way through the bracket on the winners side. Another victory for KBR wouldn’t have come as a shock, but ChrisG had different plans.

As expected, the mastermind behind Morridoom battered Blueriver with walls of projectiles; something he’s no stranger to dealing with, but today the plasma-based pressure was too much for the champ to handle and many rounds concluded with a lone Haggar attempting to wade through a flurry of Soul Fists to no avail.

We at Shoryuken would like to congratulate ChrisG on his victory. The rest of the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 top 8 results follow below.

1. NYChrisG (Morrigan/Doctor Doom/Vergil)
2. Kane Blueriver (Hulk/Sentinel/Haggar)
3. BT|Angelic (Wolverine/Dormammu/Shuma-Gorath, Dormammu/Vergil/Shuma-Gorath)
4. NB|Dual Kevin (Deadpool/Dante/Hawkeye)
5. ApologyMan (Firebrand/Doctor Doom/Super-Skrull)
5. Priest (M.O.D.O.K./Magneto/Doctor Doom, M.O.D.O.K./Dormammu/Doctor Doom)
7. Paradigm (Haggar/Dormammu/Doctor Doom, Haggar/Rocket Raccoon/Doctor Doom, Haggar/Rocket Raccoon/Arthur)
7. EG|JWong (Wolverine/Storm/Akuma, Vergil/Storm/Akuma)
