Street Fighter V’s Worldwide Beta Returns on August 28

With data gathered from the trio of recent stress tests, Capcom is set to reopen Street Fighter V’s worldwide beta this Friday. This news comes courtesy of associate producer Peter “Combofiend” Rosas, who mentions they received “promising results” from the regional sessions.

Street Fighter V’s beta will return on August 28 at 4 PM PDT (12 AM BST, 8:00 AM JST on August 29) and continue through September 2. “Outside of the servers being shut down for periodic maintenance, we expect everything to run continuously throughout the entire five day beta period,” Rosas explained.

That said, Rosas also mentions that players may occasionally run into connectivity issues, though that’s just the nature of the beast. Be sure to keep an eye on @SFVServer during the beta for updates.

The Descent: Finally, Dwarves

The original launch version of Dragon Age: Inquisition had much of what fans of the franchise were looking for. There were the open zones and the interesting and chatty group of companions. Inquisition had huge plot-shaking fights with evil dragons, and small sweet moments with friends around the card table. There was one area, though, where the game fell short: Dwarves. Uh, no pun intended.

Second Beta Weekend Coming September 4th

ArenaNet has announced that the second beta event for the Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns expansion will take place on September 4th and run through September 6th. Players will be given a level 80 character and be able to try out the chronomancer, dragonhunter, reaper, and tempest, as well as the just-announced berserker, and herald.
