UFC Fighter Angela Hill Pays Homage to Street Fighter’s Sagat During Weigh-In

Last Friday, the fight from the streets erupted onto the UFC weigh-in with a reference to an iconic character, Sagat.

Angela Hill, set to face against Jessica Andrade on Saturday, paid tribute to Street Fighter’s Sagat by mimicking the character and wearing an eye-patch. While most of the present company seemed to have missed the reference, the internet caught on fast:

Hill not only wore an eye-patch–which is a little risky, since any additional, needless clothes aren’t allowed due to a deal with outfitter Reebok–but also painted a scar on herself and imitated the King of Muay Thai’s poses spot-on.

An avid gamer and cosplay enthusiast, Hill enjoys portraying various video game personalities. She has dressed up as a vault dweller from Fallout and Dhalsim, among others. Kotaku recently ran a profile on Hill that talks about her passions in more detail.
