The latest Chronicles of Elyria newsletter has been published that show off some pretty amazing concept art in its spotlight, “Lighting the World”. The concepts are designed to show how various lighting effects will be applied to the game across different times of day and in different biomes. The letter also shows off “furring” a Dryas Elk, weather effects on grass, website improvements and much more.

World of Warcraft – One More Roadblock to Legion Flying Removed

Blizzard has taken stock of player feedback about the World of Warcraft achievement called “Defender of the Broken Isles”. This achievement was part of the “Pathfinder Part 2” achievement that would unlock flying on a player’s account. The achievement required players to complete a demonic Assault in each of four regions. The issue came as a result of the “cyclical Assault” schedule that would make them appear at random times for limited duration.

Dark Age of Camelot – First Chapter of A Dragon’s Curse Campaign Begins

The Dark Age of Camelot site has been updated with a new post laying out the first details of a new campaign called “A Dragon’s Curse (Chapter 1)”. The new content sends players into a variety of locations and includes new open-world dungeons in all three realms. In addition, dungeoneers will score Aurulite that can be spent at special vendors inside the dungeons.

Gigantic – New Weekly Update Reveals Progress to Launch

This Week in Gigantic is a new weekly post that will be published on the game’s official site. In this inaugural post, readers are informed that the final minor update to the open beta is set for deployment this week, not including, of course, hotfixes and other minor updates. By releasing the patch, Motiga devs will be freer to work on progressing the development of Gigantic towards its eventual release, something the team isn’t quite ready to reveal yet.
