Guild Wars 2 – Flashpoint to Release on May 3rd, Season 3 Nearing Its End

ArenaNet has sent word that the next episode in the ongoing Guild Wars 2 Living World Season 3 story will be released on May 2nd. Called Flashpoint, it is the second-to-last chapter in Season 3 and sees Tyria descend into war on two fronts. The paths of the powerful Elder Dragons and the mursaat Lazarus will converge. Developers promise shocking secrets and a threat like none seen before.

Skyforge – PlayStation 4 Version is Button-Mashing Bliss

Skyforge, the sci-fi fantasy from Allods, has an explanation for it: your character is immortal. A new Revelation Online 5-player dungeon has opened up in the Tower of Pain that sends groups on an upward trajectory to the eighth floor. In between the entry and the top, however, are numerous bosses that are not afraid to fight and to counter player abilities in all new ways.

Conan Exiles – Fifty Emotes Added in Latest Update

Conan Exiles has been updated with the latest Early Access patch that brings a number of bug fixes, closes several exploits and over fifty brand new emotes into the game. In addition, some visual improvements and balance / game play fixes are now in place.

Bandai shows off new S.H.Figuarts Ryu and Chun-Li figures, with Rashid and Cammy soon to come

The time has nearly come to unleash these high-quality figures!

Yoshinori Ono, the executive producer of Street Fighter V, recently shared new images of the vastly detailed Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts Ryu and Chun-Li figures on his Twitter account. The photographs were taken at Tamashii Nations Akiba Showroom, the official showroom facility of the Bandai brand, to exhibit their newest products.

According to Ono, the two famous fighters will headline the new figure line in Round 1, with Rashid and Cammy to follow suit in Round 2. Each figure will come with multiple hands and faces, special effect pieces and stands, and a backdrop sheet placing each fighter within an iconic stage from Street Fighter V. The collectibles will cost ¥6,480, which equals roughly $60 USD. More photographs can be found at the Bandai Corp. Collector’s Division Official Twitter account below.

The action figures were first listed back in December of 2016, so it’s nice to seem them back in the spotlight, especially so soon before their release. Ryu and Chun-Li are currently available for pre-order on Amazon for $59.99, with a release date of June 15. Lower prices are available at both AmiAmi (Ryu, Chun-Li) and the Lunar Toy Store (Ryu, Chun-Li) with varying release dates.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite releases on September 19, 2017

Finally, some official Marvel vs. Capcom news! Announced in a post by Peter “Combofiend” Rosas over on Capcom-Unity, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on September 19th. Along with this information, Capcom have released a story trailer for MvC:I, along with a list of eight characters that will be joining the roster. Before you go checking, they are indeed the same characters that were leaked yesterday by French website Jeuxvideo. They are (again):

  • Ultron
  • Hulk
  • Thor
  • Hawkeye
  • Rocket Raccoon
  • Chun-Li
  • Strider Hiryu
  • Chris Redfield

This story trailer also confirms the existence of Ultron-Sigma, who was teased at the end of the first MvC:I trailer, and is now confirmed to be the game’s main villain.

That’s not all in terms of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite news, as we also have information on its limited and deluxe edition, along with its 2017 Character Pass. If you pre-order the Standard Edition of MvC:I, you will gain access to the Warrior Thor and Evil Ryu Premium costumes. One can guess that the Warrior Thor costume will probably relate to his new look in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok movie.

The Deluxe Edition will cost $89.99, will come with the Warrior Thor and Evil Ryu costumes, as well as the Gladiator Hulk and Mission Command X costumes. You will also gain access to the 2017 Character Pass if you buy this edition, which will give you access to six post-launch characters. The first of these will be the Megaman villain Sigma.

For the Marvel true believers, there is the $199.99 Collector’s Edition which comes with all the previously mentioned digital goodies, as well as four interlinking character dioramas of Megaman X, Chun-Li, Iron Man and Captain Marvel, along with special LED-powered Infinity Stones.

– Diablo 2 Remaster? Brevik Says Not As Easy as It May Seem

Former Blizzard North co-founder David Brevik was interviewed recently by Diabloii.net. During the discussion, Brevik was asked how plausible a remastered Diablo 2 might be. “They’d have their work cut out for them,” he mentioned alongside the information that a lot of the assets from that time period likely do not still exist. In addition, Brevik said that games were made differently back then than they are now. Changing even the slightest thing might not keep the same feel.
