These high-resolution portraits capture the spirit of ARIKA EX’s eclectic cast

Since its creation in late July, The official ARIKA EX Facebook page has maintained a steady flow of updates about it’s upcoming PlayStation 4 fighting game. Among these updates is a series of high-resolution portraits capturing the likeness of the current playable cast of ARIKA EX: Garudo, Darun Mister, Skullomania, Kairi and Hokuto (Shirase).

Though simple in nature, the portraits are of a stunning quality and really seem to bring the characters to life. The detail on Garuda’s armor is particularly striking, but the eye for specifics is prominent in each piece of art.

Take the next step towards ledge mastery with part 2 of Super Smash Bros. Melee Tutorials’ ledge class

Any avid Super Smash Bros. Melee player can tell you how important a strong ledge game is in a competitive match! Learning the ways of the ledge is is a key part of becoming a serious competitor, and great deal of high-level exchanges happen on the edge of the stage.

In part 2 of their Everything You Need to Know About the Ledge tutorial, SSBM Tutorials goes over the more advanced ledge mechanics that every Melee player should understand and improve on. The video starts by going over the nuance of ledge hopping and ledge dropping, as well as the properties of ledge intangibility. These are concepts mostly likely overheard by the casual Smash player, but this tutorial video covers the concepts more thoroughly.
