New Injustice 2 patch reportedly deletes some players’ gear, cause under investigation

The new update seems to have brought a new — and alarming — bug along for the ride.

Injustice 2 players are reporting on social media that the new October patch for the game is having an unintended (and unpleasant) side-effect: the loss of various Gear, Shaders, even abilities for one or more of their characters. The lost items have apparently included Legendary and paid content as well, in some cases.

While the cause is currently unknown (outside of it being related to the patch), the publisher has indicated on Twitter that they are aware of the problem, and are looking into it.

Discussion of the problem continues in response to the tweet. No word yet as to when players can expect a fix.

Shatter your opponents’ defenses with these fuzzy guard setups for Kolin in Street Fighter V

Fuzzy guard breaking — taking advantage of how the game engine treats high/low blocking and blockstun to open up the opponent with effectively unblockable high attacks — isn’t talked about too much in Street Fighter V, but it is still something you can capitalize on with certain characters. Kolin, the Phantasm of Snow and Ice, is such a character.

In the video below, perfectfaro shares a selection of chilling setups that take advantage of fuzzy guard breaking. Often utilizing Kolin’s Hailstorm or Vanity Step, Kolin players will want to take note and see how they can integrate these into their own gameplan! Turn on the CC/subtitles to read the in-video explanation of each setup.
