Blizzard has rolled out another wave of 6-month bans in World of Warcraft that specifically targets players using third party programs to “enhance” game play. Players were banned that used bots to automate game play, teleport hacks and combat rotation scripts. Notifications were sent to affected players via email, a copy of which was posted to /r/WoW.

Riot Games founders Brandon “Ryze” Beck and Marc “Tryndamere” Merrill have announced that they’re returning to the development trenches in an effort, they wrote, to put the “s” in Riot Games, apparently working on something other than League of Legends. Rumors have swirled for years that Riot was working on an MMO.

Hearthstone’s Josh Durica took part in a recent live stream event to lay out the details about forthcoming mechanics changes heading into the game later this month. The goal is, he said, to make Hearthstone “strategically deep: a game of careful choices, calculated risks and exciting events”.
