Overwatch – Posting on Forums Can be ‘Scary’ & ‘Intimidating’ for Developers According to Kaplan

According to Jeff Kaplan, posting on the Overwatch community forum can be scary and intimidating for developers. He alludes to members of his team who have been “personally attacked and intimidated” by players fans. While the OW team appreciates the enthusiasm, it can be a frightening experience for devs when they are constantly concerned about ‘saying the wrong thing’. Game forums are not a “safe environment” for open communication due to harassment and out of context interpretation.

Lastly, anyone logging into the game from now through October 13th can claim a special loot bag filled with currency that can be used at the Riddled with Crime vendor.

Adel “Big Bird” Anouche has become a well-traveled player since his signing with Emirati esports team Nasr Esports. All the travel has paid off, as he has now on the verge of securing his first spot at this year’s Capcom Cup.

In their big EGX interview series, Capcom UK community manager Matt Edwards talked to Big Bird about his recent success on the Capcom Pro Tour. Despite his drop in popularity, the two also discuss the future of Ken in Street Fighter V and how he, along with Takamura, Momochi and Chris T are keeping the Ken dream alive. They also touch on the recent signing of fellow Emirati player Angry Bird (no relation) to Nasr Esports.
