– Deep Sky Derelicts – Interstellar Survival with a Wicked Combo of Genres

Deep Sky Derelicts is really a hard game to pin down genre-wise. It’s survival. It’s a turn-based RPG. It’s sci-fi. It’s got tactical combat. It’s got more than that too. In fact, if there was anything to compare it to most closely, it would be Red Hook’s Darkest Dungeon. And that’s a compliment to both games, believe me. I had the chance to spend some time with an early access build of Deep Sky Derelicts and have a few thoughts to share.

Crossout – The Holidays Arrive in a Snowstorm

Crossout survivors are being treated to some holiday cheer for the grand new year of 2048. During the Snowstorm event, players can take on a number of festive missions and can earn special fireworks and stickers as well as “Cracker”, a valuable currency for Scar Santa.

– Zy Universe Expands the Lore in New Developer Blog

The latest Zy Universe developer blog has been posted on the site, a lore piece designed to reveal the origins of the planet Zaixing, a name that in Mandarin Chinese means “disaster”. According to the team, this fits the background of the overarching story. The goal of the piece and of all future lore articles, is to provide players with immersion extending beyond gameplay.

Dark and Light – Winter is Coming Today with Holiday Cheer & Content

Dark & Light players will be able to cozy up to the fire as snow begins falling across Archos. Major cities will be decorated for the winter holidays and wizened players can scout around for some limited-time gifts while there. In addition, the Reindeer Games hearken to Rudolph where players can catch an Elk with a bright red nose, saddle it up (thanks to special drops) and take to the skies! At the end of the event, it goes away unless purchased from town vendors.
