While Nintendo’s console portable hybrid Switch has been getting a number of multiplayer games — including fighting games — actually connecting to people can be a chore. While Nintendo has made some steps to remedy this, the system in place for most games is still far from ideal.
To respond to this challenge, a Switch fan who goes by the handle “bezzaton” on Reddit has created a new multiplayer match up site for players on the system. Called Switcher.gg, the site aims to connect Switch players who want to play together, either through online or local multiplayer.
Interested players can sign up via either email or Discord. Additionally, the site features integration with the latter, so any messages sent via Switcher.gg can be received on Discord. That said, players still have the option of simply using their Nintendo IDs instead.

Starting next month, Lord of the Rings Online VIP and Lifetime VIP players will have an opportunity to play on the new “Legendary” server. Those joining up will enjoy LOTRO where it began and all players will start the journey on even footing. Content on the Legendary World server will start with the Shadows of Angmar story, with further content rolling out over time.
