Brian Holinka Returns to World of Warcraft Lead Combat Designer
Things are moving fast these days with the World of Warcraft team. It has been confirmed that Brian Holinka has returned to the WoW team as the new Lead Combat Designer. Eagle eyed users saw a post on Holinka’s LinkedIn page and he later confirmed via Twitter that he has indeed returned to WoW. You may recall that Holinka was the Lead PvP Developer from 2012 to 2017. For the past year, he has been at work “on an unannounced project”.

CapcomFighters shares top 5 moments from SEA Major 2018
SEA Major 2018 featured two different events for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition: a traditional open bracket and an eight player event consisting of the top 8 players on the CPT Asia Regional Leaderboard. Amazingly, as indicated in the several spots he’s apart of in today’s highlight reel, Evo Champion Tokido found himself in the grand finals of both events.
Legend he may be, he also fell to 2nd place in both events — and despite that, still walked away looking like the most impressive player at the event. His consistency and iron will shaped the events of both tournaments, and of the absurd comebacks he pulled off in this Top 5 moments video from Capcom Fighters.

SoulCalibur VI day one tech — Cervy combos, Kayane’s beginner guides, and more!
SoulCalibur VI is here! It’s been years since the Calibur community has had an explosion of recognition like this. With new attention comes new content, so let’s take a look at what the community has cooked up on day one!
It was already known that Yoshimitsu was going to be a wildly versatile and efficient character, but I’m not sure how many people saw he bringing Tekken-length combos like this along with him.

When we first learned that Zasalamel’s Time Orbs were combo-modifiers, it seemed almost inevitable that something like this would be the result. This might be the only mid-juggle RE I’ve seen used thus far: do you have any other examples?

There is, inevitably a large amount of beginner tutorials and system primers out for a brand new game. But, at an hour long, Namco wants to make sure that their’s is the definitive one:
Cervantes, armed with a Gun full of Just-Frames, was clearly designed for high damage combos.
Watch out — that 3B+K drop may not be a drop at all. Xianghua has a nasty crouch throw tech trap here:
And lastly, we close out with the new character Azwel showing off his damage potential from the odd FC3A, a high string with great range and loops.
Thanks to everyone that submitted content to us! If you have some SCVI tech you’d like to share with the world, reach out to us through our tipline.
