Skyforge’s Roadmap for Q4 Includes Interstellar Travel & New Enemies

The Skyforge team has posted its Q4 roadmap that provides players with a peek at what’s in the pipeline for the balance of 2018. Let’s just say that’s it’s definitely “out of this world”! A two-part update will be deployed to the game that will allow players to participate in interstellar travel “by means of space time wormholes”. Along the way, a new planet that is environmentally favorable to player races will be discovered, but with plenty to keep them occupied.

Thrills & Chills Spill Into Black Desert Online

It’s that time of year again, when ghosties and ghoulies and things that go bump in the night return to our favorite MMOs. Black Desert Online players can head into the game to check out the Halloween event that includes a pair of event bosses “with great treats and craftable costumes” that are all-new for 2018.

Bowman?s Battle Royale Corner Featuring Ring of Elysium

It is a full on warzone out there now! You head down the mountain as quick as you can and stop at a house that sits at its base. When you walk inside there are guns laying all over the place. You pick one up and prepare to defend yourself as you hear a radio message that a storm is coming, and the local rescue chopper is coming to get people out quickly. These are our first impressions for Ring of Elysium.

Fortnite Now Includes In-Game Tournaments & the Quadcrasher Vehicle

When the latest update is finalized, Fortnite Battle Royale players will have new toys to play with thanks to the inclusion of the Quadcrasher 4-wheeled vehicle and the new in-game tournament system. Save the World players also have new toys with a pair of new weapons and Beta Storms “as a way to test new content and experimental ideas”. This is a limited time mission alert.

Final Fantasy XIV’s Yoshida Naoki on Going F2P – ‘No Plan at All’

A new interview with Final Fantasy XIV’s Yoshida Naoki has been published on Korean site Iven.co.kr where he is specifically asked about the possibility of moving the game to a free-to-play revenue model. His answer is unequivocal, “We have no plan for F2P at all.” The answer came as part of a larger discussion of the 4.3 update and general gameplay in Final Fantasy XIV.
