Elder Scrolls Online devs are on a happy gift-giving jag lately. Earlier this month, the community earned a trio of goodies and the joy isn’t stopping now. Over the course of the next few months, players are invited to participate in a number of events. Successfully doing so will net them the Indrik Mount — all for the price of enjoying the game.
Ryan Bader is set to continue his run in the heavyweight grand prix when he meets Matt Mitrione at Bellator 207 on Friday in a fight that many think will determine the future winner of the tournament. Bader comes into the fight as the promotion’s light heavyweight champion and boasts a KO win over Muhammed Lawal in his last fight.
Encased, an “old-school isometric RPG”, has hit its initial funding goal on KickStarter with about six days left in the initiative. The original goal was to raise approximately $99,000 and the mark was met earlier today with over 2,200 fans becoming backers.
On Saturday Bellator’s man of many talents, Chael Sonnen, takes on Fedor Emelianenko in Bellator 208’s main event at Nassau Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y.
The latest edition of the Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen newsletter is hot off the press. As it is October, this month’s version is a bit “spookier” than normal and features both a harvesting update and a “rogues gallery” spotlight on the Lycandrell…or werewolves.
For a very long time, Green Arcade has been the central point of South Korea’s Tekken scene. It has provided some of the highest level of game-play for Tekken over the years, and was often times the birthplace of important tech that would shape the scene. Unfortunately, that time has now passed:

Despite being home to the likes of international stars like NIN and Knee, the arcade struggled to stay afloat in a post-console release world, having cited a lack of revenue and attendance — both due to Tekken 7 Season 2 and DLC being console-exclusive. But it seems that the aging management has brought about the closure at last.

Let us begin with a Fortnite health report. Two weeks ago, I sat at my keyboard and told you all I was bringing a giant to its knees by making it so popular it was unpopular. I said if someone as old and niche as I was covering it, then it was on borrowed time. As if my prophecies have ever needed justification, a week after my column dropped Saturday Night Live had a Fortnite skit…There is nothing less cool to teens than a comedy show featuring political humor directed at old people!
Strange Brigade has been updated with its first DLC called The Thrice Damned. Players will find the first part of the ongoing campaign in “Isle of the Dead”. It is designed for one to four players and is available on PlayStation 4, PC and XBox One. The campaign DLC is $6.99 or is part of the Season Pass.
It has been a bit of a wait but MapleStory 2 is finally here. We got our chance to run around in the closed beta test, but now with our jump into head start we can provide all the changes that have happened in the initial changes. Overwatch’s annual Halloween Terror event is back with lots of spooky theme items including new skins, sprays, highlight intros, emotes and more. Several heroes are getting the new-skin treatment this year such as Moira, Sombra, Pharah, Wrecking Ball, Mei, Soldier 76, Widowmaker, Doomfist and McCree. In addition, items from Halloween events in the past are back, so there’s lot to collect.
