Omen of Sorrow pre-orders available on PlayStation Store, includes exclusive theme as pre-order bonus

If you’ve been looking forward to the gothic world of Omen of Sorrow, now’s you chance to show it! Pre-orders are now open on the PlayStation store.

Omen of Sorrow is a GGPO-using, indie fighting game heavily inspired by horror and mythological tropes. It’s made by Chilean developer AOne Games and will be released by Dutch publisher Soedesco.

When the game releases, it’ll be priced at $49.99 USD. However all digital pre-orders will receive a 10% discount, in addition to PlayStation Plus members getting an additional 5% off. On top of that, everyone who pre-orders the game before November 5th, will get an exclusive Omen of Sorrow PlayStation 4 theme.

Omen of Sorrow releases on November 6th, 2018.

Nintendo teams up with ELEAGUE to televise the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Invitational

ELEAGUE, an esports organization who famously paired up with Capcom for multiple Street Fighter V events, is picking up another fighting game franchise for fame and glory. Showing a teaser trailer for November, ELEAGUE revealed the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Invitational — which will be televised.

Details haven’t been released yet, but we know that this will happen in November on the TBS channel. We can expect top Smash players invited on the grand stage to showcase the latest build of the game. The Esports Observer reports that the program will feature a three-part series that showcases the game.

It’s quite a departure from Nintendo’s previous esports strategy (or rather, lack thereof) as this will be the second time Super Smash Bros. will be featured on a major network television, the first being DisneyXD via ESPN.

Elder Scrolls Online Previews the Blackrose Prison 4-Player Arena

When Murkmire launches into Elder Scrolls Online, it will come with a brand new 4-player arena called Blackrose Prison. The game’s official site has been updated with a preview of the new cooperative content that includes a bit of lore behind it. In addition, the team offers some strategies that players can utilize as they take on ever-increasingly difficult enemies, environmental mechanics and a final boss taking place over the course of five rounds.

Twitch Prime Members Can Unlock Sweet Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Loot

Thanks to Amazon / Twitch Prime, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey players who are members can link their Twitch accounts to their UbiSoft account to unlock four sweet items in game. Items include a ship skin, a pirate crew theme, a mount skin and a rare armor set. Once the accounts are linked, players can unlock the items for PC, PlayStation 4 or XBox One. The items will be available on the next log in.

It is weird no matter how much you love a game; there are times you need to take a break from it. I have spent a half of a decade with an on and off relationship with Warframe. I truly love the game and want to play it for many more years to come, but there are times I can’t bring myself to play it. I know I am not the only one that feels the same about Warframe.
