Cassandra Alexandra and Amy Sorel rumored to be the next two DLC characters in the SoulCalibur VI Season Pass

Are these the next two characters joining the Stage of History?

A few days ago, SoulCalibur VI was patched to Version 1.10. This update provided a variety of balance adjustments and bug fixes, in addition to implementing the game’s first post-launch DLC character as part of the Season Pass, YoRHa No. 2 Type B: 2B, from NieR: Automata. Though we are still waiting on official word on who else will be joining the roster alongside Tira and 2B, some curious data miners examined the contents of the patch and discovered the names of Cassandra and Amy inside the game’s code, with the labels “DLC2” and “DLC3” beside them.

Cassandra Alexandra is the younger sister of Sophitia, who debuted in SoulCalibur II, looking to relive her sister from the burdens of battling Soul Edge on behalf of the blacksmith God Hephaestus. She can be seen in Sophitia’s Soul Chronicle, wearing a new outfit.

Amy was originally just a street urchin living out her days in solitude, before being adopted by Raphael after saving him from a group of soldiers that were pursuing him. She was then adopted by him, taking the last name Sorel and training in the art of fencing. She made her debut in SoulCalbur III as a gameplay-clone of Raphael, but was made much more distinct upon her return in SoulCalibur IV. She can also currently be seen in Raphael’s Soul Chronicle.

To potentially solidify things further, they ranked 12th and 13th in the SoulCalibur Popularity Poll that was held prior to the development and announcement of SCVI, with Cassandra getting 339 votes to Amy’s 311. It should noted that all of the top 10 characters in this poll are currently in the game. While this should be taken with a grain of salt, as it isn’t officially confirmed, a similar leak happened with Dragon Ball FighterZcorrectly predicting that Bardock, Broly, Fused Zamasu, SSGSS Vegito, Base Goku, Base Vegeta, Cooler and the Dragon Ball Super version of Android 17 would be the eight mighty warriors contained in the FighterZ Pass.

What do you think of these two ladies potentially returning to the Stage of History? Will you be playing them if they arrive? Sound off in the comments below.

Vortex Tab 90 Mechanical Keyboard Review

In the keyboard world, few companies command as much cachet as Vortexgear. Since the release of their flagship Pok3r keyboard, they’ve made a habit of challenging convention. Today, we’re looking at their latest release with the Tab 90 mechanical keyboard. It’s a full-size board in a compact package, complete with onboard macro programming, double-shot dye sub keycaps, and bluetooth. Live dangerously, my friends; it’s time to step outside the world of “gaming” keyboards.

The King of Fighters XIV is getting a balance patch this Christmas

It seems that SNK has a special gift for all The King of Fighters XIV players. Their flagship 3-on-3 fighter is getting a balance patch this Christmas.

Specifically, SNK has announced that the balance patch will be arriving sometime on December 25 in Japan for both PlayStation 4 and Steam. This means that players in the West may actually be getting it the day before, thanks to the time zone difference.

As for what the balance patch entails, there’s been some speculation about which characters are getting adjusted, no specific details have been given as of yet.

Black Clover’s Asta confirmed for JUMP FORCE

“My magic is never giving up!”

With the game’s February 14th release date quickly approaching, the character count for Bandai Namco’s 3v3 arena fighter JUMP FORCE is continuing to ramp up as another hero, and franchise, has just been announced to be joining the battle for Earth.

Weekly Shonen Jump has announced that Black Clover protagonist Asta will be joining the fray, wielding his trademark Demon-Dweller Sword and Demon Slayer Sword, making the magicless member of the Black Bulls and weirder of the Five-Leaf Clover grimoire a hybrid fighter with a dual-wielding style who can excel at both close and long-range combat.

Additionally, he will be able to transform into his Black Asta form when preforming his Ultimate Attack, the Black Meteorite. As he is considered one of the modern faces of current Jump, his inclusion should be most welcomed. With that, Asta now brings the playable cast of JUMP FORCE up to 33, as he joins Dragon Ball’s Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Cell, Piccolo, and Trunks, Naruto’s Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, One Piece’s Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Vinsmoke Sanji, Sabo, Marshall “Blackbeard” D. Teach, Sabo, and Boa Hancock,  Bleach’s Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Sosuke Aizen, and Renji Abarai, Hunter x Hunter’s Gon Freeces, Hisoka Morrow, Killua Zoldyck, and Kurapika, Yu Yu Hakusho’s Yusuke Urameshi and Younger Toguro, Rurouni Kenshin’s Kenshin Himura and Makoto Shishio, Saint Seiya’s Pegasus Seiya and Dragon Shiryu, Fist of the North Star/Hokuto no Ken’s Kenshiro, Yu-Gi-Oh!’s Yami Yugi, City Hunter’s Ryo Saeba, and original character Kane, designed by Akira Toriyama. Death Note’s Light Yagami and Ryuk will also be in the game as story NPCs, in addition to a character creation mode.
