The Game Awards: The Highs & Lows

Here at MMORPG we are lucky to have been working in games since 2002. The Game Awards represents a fantastic achievement for fans and the industry itself to bring people together who love playing games. In their fifth year, Geoff Keighly has managed to put together a great following and some even better exclusive announcements built around the show. To kick the night off, representatives from Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo all took the stage together, that achievement alone, was a miracle.

A new title that is part of a new IP for them aims to prove that they are still one of the best companies around in this aspect of gaming. I had an opportunity to visit Obsidian’s headquarters recently and get a look at the game and what it’s all about.

Kritika Online Updated with the Archer Class, a New Challenger Zone & More

Kritika Online has been updated with a big patch to bring a lot of new content to the game for players to explore. The pet-using Archer class is now available as well as three new Challenger Zones and the “Progression Renewal” feature. The latter sees the “leveling experience for end-game overhauled, rearranging quests and adding new rewards”.

World of Warcraft: Tides of Vengeance Survival Guide

The World of Warcraft team is getting ready to release the v8.1 “Tides of Vengeance” patch on Tuesday, December 11th. To get players prepped and ready to roll come reset day, the team has put out a new “Survival Guide” for all of the new content coming in 8.1.
