Sailor Pluto is easily one of the bottom tier characters of Sailor Moon S. However, this game is less about the tiers and more about how you use your characters… even the worst character in this game can take tournament sets if used properly.
This video gets you started with the keeper of the time gate, as you learn about her specials, normals, and mix-up potential. You also learn how to lock down in the corner with her — and how crazy her desperation move can be.

It’s hard to believe that it has been less than a decade since Tokido first laid his hands on Akuma. The legend has become synonymous with the character — and yet, the first game he was known to play him in was Street Fighter IV.
Tokido, however, has pushed the character to his limits in both that game and Street Fighter V, and his results have been amazing. In this combo video, we see what happens when a character meshes with a player so seamlessly. The creativity displayed in his play is now often considered the litmus test for other people selecting their own main.

There’s no denying the fact that Dragon Ball FighterZ is bringing the heat as far as combos are concerned! Its system lends itself to the crazy, long, and execution-heavy combos that we know and love from both the Marvel series and various anime titles.
The Combonauts are known for the pushing the envelope when it comes to said combos, and this eighth video is a testament to that. Using characters like Beerus, Ginyu, Frieza, and Gotenks, we see a ton of crazy combos with some amazing loops. We also see an instance of Broly’s DHC glitch in action.

ARIKA is ramping up the promotional machine on their upcoming title, Fighting EX Layer, as we draw close to its planned June 2018 release window. Over the weekend, the team set up the game at NorCal Regionals — and it was met with a positive response!
Also offered was a single-elimination exhibition tournament, which featured the likes of Vicious, Marn, and Justin Wong squaring off against each other. Over the course of the exhibition, we saw varied usage of the characters and the Gougi system, giving us a decent glimpse of what’s to come when the game officially releases.

While many of the elements of Injustice: Gods Among Us found their way into Injustice 2, its safe to say that the two games — as well as many of the characters — play fundamentally different. One of the biggest examples of this is Black Adam, whose combos operate in a very different style between the two games.
In this combo video, we see this comparison in action: While his “Orbs of Seth” character trait is central to both game’s combos, we can see how very different they look between the two engines.

While we already know the roster coming to Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition during Season 3, it is never too early to speculate on who may make the cut in Season 4. As such, VesperArcade — after reading the back story on the CFN portal — has his own ideas on who might show up.
Recapping the backstory posted about F.A.N.G, he speculates that hidden in his storyline is a potential new character named Phantom, whom F.A.N.G finds and trains at the end of the story. While it may come to be nothing, the speculation behind it is intriguing enough to pay attention.

All-girls fighters are growing in popularity recently, as well as the number of titles available for this subgenre. Nitroplus Blasterz has a unique niche in this realm with heavy damage and a lot of assist options, making for some unique combo extensions.
All of this is shown off with this combo video for Saber. Using various assists along with her long-hitting sword swipe super, she can perform some huge damage combos, as well as an obscene amount of hits. This shows off some of the zaniness that can happen in this fun title.

Fighting EX Layer started off as an April Fool’s joke, and this year has come full circle by using the date for blatantly real announcements. Its developer, ARIKA, released a trailer on April 1st (in Japan) showing off a glimpse of the recently revealed Shadowgeist’s capabilities. They also revealed two new characters: Sanane, who appears to play much like Street Fighter EX2‘s Nanase, and sword-wielding Hayate.
ARIKA president Akira Nishitani went further to state that they were open to adding DLC characters based off the success of sales with the title. He hinted that on the table for DLC were Street Fighter EX favorites Pullum, Area, Sharon, and Volcano Rosso.

Bayonetta might be the queen of one-touch kills in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, but Zero Suit Samus is making a claim at the crown. Watching these two characters’ combos is almost like watching mirror images — the combo tools that Bayonetta uses are very similar to ZSS, and as such she is just as much a threat.
This combo video from Horse showcases how her combos turn out to be quasi-reminiscent of Bayonetta — both with her uair carries into up+b kills, and her plethora of stage spikes.

Juri has been gaining popularity, due to Infiltration’s usage of her in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. While she is still agreed upon to be low tier, she has her utility and is always interesting to watch on a technical level.
This combo video shows some of the heavily situational and technical combos Juri is capable of, in a stylish way. On top of that, we see great usage of both of her V-Triggers as combo extensions, showing that there might be some utility to her V-Trigger II after all!
