If you thought tech was frozen in Mortal Kombat XL, think again. The game may have taken a back seat to Injustice 2 since its release, but there is still a community surrounding the title that still have passion for it, and combo videos and tech continue to surface.

This particular combo video features Sub-Zero in all three variations, showing off corner carries and freeze combos for days. We also see some amazing corner-only combos, with great juggles into grabs.

Enchantress has been out for only a short time in Injustice 2, and we’re already seeing a great deal of content for her. For people who are looking to pick her up, there is a growing treasure trove of information at your disposal.

This combo video goes from practical to impractical, as you learn exactly what Enchantress has to offer. Starting with meterless, you then move into what you can do with her various meter burns. While damage is not displayed, the focus of this video is instead seeing exactly what’s going on during the combos.

With Dissidia Final Fantasy NT‘s Western release now upon us, people will certainly be in the lab with this title. Fortunately for those who want to see what they can do with this game, people who have their hands on the Japanese version have been posting their findings.

This combo video shows off some strong basic combos with a large swath of the cast, including characters like Onion Knight, Cloud, Ultimecia, and Tidus. Armed with these, you’ll be better equipped to cut and cast your way through to victory for your team.

All of the community’s eyes were on Evo Japan 2018, and it was indeed an amazing event, with some interesting results. The whole world saw Infiltration return to his throne, reigning as king of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition.

VesperArcade sat down to discuss the aftermath of the event, and specifically talked about MOV and HumanBomb’s differences in approach to Chun-Li, with the former sticking the V-Trigger I and the latter moving on to some creative uses of V-Trigger II. He also discussed various matches, including stormKUBO and Tokido, and Infiltration and John Takeuchi.

Charging Star, anime knows thee not. In BlazBlue Central Fiction, Tsubaki Yayoi might as well be the protector of America, using her shield a lot like the star-spangled Avenger. In this combo video, she shows just how devastating it can be.

While not featuring much in the way of Exceed Excel and other advanced mechanics, this video shows off what she can do with just Rapid Cancels and Distortion Drives, showing great amounts of damage and corner carry potential she can get off of Central Fiction’s basic mechanics. This shows that with a dash of creativity, Tsubaki will knock the stars and stripes into you.

One of the best parts of Tekken 7 is its character customization, which lend itself to a large amount of creativity. When combined with the creativity of combo videos, you get things like this.

In this video, we see a string of Paul Phoenix combos. Or is it Ken Masters? It’s hard to tell, given the cosplay. But he’s not the only one decked out for a cosplay convention as various other characters, including Lars, Lucky Chloe, Lili, and Xiaoyu, are dressed up as Street Fighter characters to be Paul’s punching bags.

With Tekken X Street Fighter lost in the mists of time, this may be the only chance you’ll get of seeing more Street Fighter characters fighting in a 3D arena.

With the platform fighter undergoing a mini-renaissance, Rivals of Aether has been leading the charge in both mechanical innovation and player numbers. With any game that gains some sort of popularity, combo videos are bound to follow.

In this video we see some amazing Forsburn and Ranno combos — practical ones, as evidenced by their usage in actual matches. You see an amazing display of spikes, creating early losses as stocks, as well as one sequence that results in a quick two-stock loss.

With T2’s CakeAssault really push the envelope for Forsburn with his victory at Genesis 5 last weekend, expect many more Forsburn players roaming around in Ranked play.
