MOV, Takumi Sign Sponsorship Deals with Team GRAPHT

Big things are happening for Joe “MOV” Egami:. the longtime FGC mainstay has just signed a professional contract with Team GRAPHT.

GRAPHT, a Japanese company specializing in geek apparel, announced today that they had signed MOV, who finished in 5th place at both Evolution 2016 and Capcom Cup 2016. This will be a major move for Egami, who is already running a house dedicated to competitive fighting game practice in Japan.

Also being signed in the same move was Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 player Takumi, who has done well on the circuit with his play of Magneto/Wesker/Doctor Doom. With Marvel 3 in a plateau of sorts, one can think this may be forward-thinking to Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.

Watch the Other “Claw” Sink into Flesh in This King of Fighters XIV Choi Combo Video

If we played a little bit of word association, I’d say “claw,” and most people would say Vega. If you were in Japan, you’d probably also be inclined to say Balrog. Either way, you’d be talking about the same character, but neither are a part of this article, other than to prove my point.

Now onto the lesser-known claw, shorty Choi from The King of Fighters. While he often does not see play in high-level matches, that doesn’t mean he can’t hit–and hit the little man does in this highly insane and impractical video.

AiAi Takes Street Fighter V Season 2’s Juri into the Turbulent Winds Against Gachikun and John Takeuchi

AiAi is most known for his top 8 finish at Evolution 2015, with none other than Juri in Ultra Street Fighter IV. However, he has also made the transition to Street Fighter V keeping his former main intact.

After the Season 2 update, he is likely counting his lucky stars, as Juri has found herself beefed up considerably. But how good is that compared to the likes of the top Rashid players, such as Gachikun and r/Kappa|John Takeuchi? Well, we shall soon see, won’t we?

One of the most amateur mistakes is not punishing unsafe moves. To the untrained eye, a lot of people will not see the opportunity to strike after blocking, or a whiffed attack. Even when they do punish, they often do not punish their opponents to the fullest extent.

r/StreetFighter’s latest episode of Two Minute Tutorials aims to curb this practice, which ultimately handicaps your ability to win matches. It goes over punishes with a lot of detail in the 120 second runtime, leaving you with less time watching videos and more time to put into practice what you learned.

AceKingOffsuit Throws Down the Gauntlet for All Urien Mains Appearing on the Capcom Pro Tour in 2017

Do you play Urien? Are you going to be playing a Capcom Pro Tour event in 2017? Would you like a little bit of a reimbursement on your entry fee, just in case you don’t reach a payout? If your execution is grand, you just may be in luck.

AceKingOffsuit is throwing down a major gauntlet for all Urien players. The character has a 70% damage punish on Akuma off of a whiffed EX Shoryuken. However, it is heavily situational, and requires V-Trigger and full meter in order to perform.
