Lab Zero’s Skullgirls: 2nd Encore is still one of the most impressive indie fighters ever made, what with its production values or its features that rival (or in the case of netcode, surpass) those of games made big name companies. Now, for those who have yet to get a copy of this fighter, now may be a great chance to do so thanks to a massive discount over at Fanatical.

Skullgirls: 2nd Encore‘s complete pack for PC can now be purchased for the amazingly low price of $1.99 over on Fanatical. Take note that this complete pack contains not just the 2nd Encore updgade, but also all of the additional characters (Squigly, Fukua, Big Band, Eliza, Beowulf, and Robo-Fortune),  DLC character colors, and other content (including Japanese voice overs) that Lab Zero has added into the game.

This complete pack usually retails for $24.99 so this discount represents a whopping 92% savings over that price.

When My Hero One’s Justice launches in the west this Friday, it won’t initially come with an arcade mode. However, that shouldn’t be an issue: Bandai Namco has confirmed that the update that adds arcade mode will be available at launch.

In addition to it, the game’s first two DLC characters, Shoot Style Izuku Midoriya and Endeavor will also be available at launch. The former is a free add on character, while the latter is free for players who’ve pre-ordered the game.

As previously detailed, arcade mode has players fight against six consecutive opponents. Completing arcade mode will unlock exclusive items.

Meanwhile, once players have either DLC character, they will be able to purchase additional missions for them.

My Hero One’s Justice arrives on PlayStation 4, PC, Switch, and XBox One on October 26. In the meantime, check out these new screenshots in the gallery below.

In addition to reducing the overall input delay of the game, it seems that Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition‘s latest, 3.091 patch has also brought with it a number of changes to various characters. Loic “WydD” Petit, who did the recent round of testing on the game’s input delay has listed down these changes.

The first of these is related to a bug that would reverse the inputs of Rashid, Alex, and Juri. This time, a fix has been applied to characters with similar flags on their throws, there are Cammy’s forward throw, Nash’s Tragedy Assault, Cody’s forward throw, Falke’s forward throw, and Akuma’s Demon Flip throw.

Meanwhile, Ed has had the properties of his anti-air V-Skill changed. Specifically, the various juggle values have been changed, though WydD admits that he isn’t sure about the consequences of these. Finally, Cody has had some of the properties of the hitboxes for crouch fierce and medium Ruffian Kick changed. Again, the exact effects of these are as of yet unknown.

Additionally, changes were found in the files for Kolin and Zeku, but the versions of the files are the same as before. While these could also be stealth changes, WydD speculates that these could be non-gameplay related.

While Nintendo’s console portable hybrid Switch has been getting a number of multiplayer games — including fighting games — actually connecting to people can be a chore. While Nintendo has made some steps to remedy this, the system in place for most games is still far from ideal.

To respond to this challenge, a Switch fan who goes by the handle “bezzaton” on Reddit has created a new multiplayer match up site for players on the system. Called Switcher.gg, the site aims to connect Switch players who want to play together, either through online or local multiplayer.

Interested players can sign up via either email or Discord. Additionally, the site features integration with the latter, so any messages sent via Switcher.gg can be received on Discord. That said, players still have the option of simply using their Nintendo IDs instead.

NIS America has just announced when they will be revealing the next DLC character for SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy. The new character is set to be revealed at the London MCM Comic Con on Thursday, October 25.

Of course, this wouldn’t be an SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy announcement without them teasing the character. As such, NIS America has released the silhouette — that you can see above — of the upcoming character.

From the silhouette, we can see that the new character has some sharp nails as well as a distinct bob-style haircut. This does seem to narrow them down to certain specific characters from SNK’s various IPs.

Whoever this character is, we’ll find out their identity on October 25.
