Bandai Namco games is currently bringing Tekken 7 to select tournaments and arcades in North America. To help draw more attention to these, the company has partnered Esteban Martinez, the creator of FGC: Rise of the Fighting Game Community, to cover each stop in the game’s tour.

Their first stop on this tour was none other than the same place where they announced the tour itself: Final Round XIX. With Atlanta considered by some to be one of the homes of Tekken in the East Coast, there was bound to be plenty of hype and passion on display for the new game at the event.

It’s this that Martinez captures in the video below where he talks to various members of the community in attendance and highlights select moments from the tournament.

With all the new content being put out at the moment, it’s likely that you’ve already seen what Alex can do in Street Fighter V. However, all of that is useless if you haven’t yet grasped his basics.

To help players out, Sajam recently released a video exploring Alex as he appears in Street Fighter V. As with all of his breakdowns, this one covers the returning character’s normals, specials, V-Skill, V-Trigger, and basic gameplan.

Alex still has the ability to put his opponent in a back turned state, either from his fierce Flash Chop or his V-Trigger lariat, which allows him a some unique follow-ups (including a german suplex command throw) for more damage. More interesting are his V-Skill, which gives his next attack counter-hit properties (including Crush Counter), and a lariat V-Trigger that parries and can also be charged to become unblockable.

Following up on his earlier videos for Kim Wu and Tusk, Sajam has returned with two more character breakdowns for Killer Instinct Season 3. This time, he focuses on guest characters Rash and Arbiter.

As with Sajam’s previous breakdowns, these cover a characters normals, specials, linkers, enders, instinct mode, and more, while also going over their basic gameplan. Rash is, for the most part, the same as he was during the game’s beta last year. However, he’s received a few new uses for some of his tools, which Sajam also discusses.

Arbiter, on the other hand, has some pretty far reaching medium and heavy normals that allow him to control a lot of space, helping him make up for his somewhat slower walk speed. He can also spend Shadow meter and activate his overshield, another important tool for closing the gap between him and his opponent.

Killer Instinct Season 3 is currently available for Xbox One and Windows 10.

One of the unique things about the Super Smash Bros. games is that, aside from the usual one-on-one format, they can also be played by pairs, with rather exciting results.

In this new video, SSB_Lockon highlights one such Super Smash Bros. Melee team comprised of Counter Logic Gaming’s Kevin “PewPewU” Toy and Zachary “SFAT” Cordoni, otherwise known as PewFAT. They were chosen due to being widely considered as one of the best competitive duos in the community today. And while some players liberally switch partners, they’ve stuck together for some time.

As is the case with any tournament, not every match had the opportunity to be played on a broadcast station at the recently concluded NorCal Regionals 2016. A number of great sets from pools and even top 32 were played out off-stream.

Luckily, attendees were more than willing to capture these matches themselves. JoseR is one such person, and he’s provided a huge playlist for those of you wanting more action from this Capcom Pro Tour premier event.

The footage highlights some matches from NorCal Regionals vaunted “death pool” for on-site registrants, which included iPeru, MOV, Poongko, F3|Alucard, and more. These are joined by replays from the top 32, featuring players such as RZR|Xian, Kazunoko, QAN|Xiaohai, l|NuckleDu, MCZ|Mago, EG|Momochi, RZR|Fuudo, MJS|Haitani, YP|Filipinoman, Snake Eyez, EG|PR Balrog, and more.

This year is the first in quite awhile that will see both Capcom and SNK Playmore release installments of their flagship fighting franchises. As such, it’s the perfect opportunity for El Gamer Cosplayer and his crew to celebrate the last time these fighting game giants came together in a single game.

In the video below, this intrepid group of cosplayers play out scenes and battles from that mid-2000s crossover classic, SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos. Of course, this isn’t a straight up recreation, as the group adds a bit of humor and comedy to the proceedings making for some pretty funny moments.
