Pick Up Some Diddy Kong Basics in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

Even though Cloud Strife has drawn a good deal of attention away from the rest of the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U cast, we can’t forget the fighters who have been holding down the roster since the game released, even if, in some cases, we may have wanted to. Ironically enough, one of those fighters who may have resulted in selective memory loss is the topic of the most recent tech video from FyazkoSSB.

Diddy Kong’s had an interesting journey since the game’s launch, and even though he’s been a popular target for the nerf bat, he still sees decent representation in competition. If you’re looking to join Team Diddy, this video is a great place to pick up tactics like instant Popgun cancels, B-reverse options, how to make the most of those pesky banana peels, and lots more.

‘Xrd Notes’ Discusses Venom’s Neutral Formations in Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-

Complicated character mechanics abound in Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-. Whether managing little Eddie as Zato-1, properly placing swords with Ramlethal, creating traps with Bedman, or employing any number of other unique tactics, picking up a character can be a daunting task.

With this in mind, and to help ease players into one of the more interesting zoning mechanics in fighting games, Novril and the Chemical Lovers team joined forces with Fino to bring viewers some insight into how Venom approaches the neutral game in the latest episode of Xrd Notes.

In a method similar to what you’ll find in the Guilty Gear Crash Course series, this video stresses the importance of keeping things as simple as possible when starting out. That doesn’t mean that they’ve skimped on information, however, as any discussion on Venom’s pool ball formations demands plenty exposition. You’ll learn the most useful ball formations, how and when to swing your cue at them, and plenty more.

If you’re an aspiring pool shark, you’ll not want to miss out on this information.

Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- PC Mods Add Classic Millia and Robo-Ky Skins

The PC community has no qualms with adding personal touches to their favorite games, and it seems that Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- has already inspired a handful of modders to do just that. Just one week after its release, enterprising creators have already started down the path to what could become a massive wardrobe overhaul across the entire cast.

Since these are (incredibly) early takes on what modding may eventually bring the game, don’t expect to see anything too mind-blowing. As shown in the gallery below, players can now access Millia’s classic colors (though she still sports her new hat), Robo-Ky (aesthetics only), and a strange Super Mario Bros.-inspired set of duds for May if they don’t mind snagging some third party files to do so.

That last one is a little confusing, but hey, to each their own.

Nintendo Reveals Final Round of Super Smash Bros. Mii Fighter Outfits

Now that we’ve all had a chance to calm down from Nintendo’s latest Super Smash Bros. character reveals, we can take some time to check out the rest of the content that they announced alongside the upcoming cast members.

It’s hard to contend with actual new characters, but some popular faces will be making their way into the game in the form of Mii Fighter outfits. This list includes Super Mario RPG’s Geno, Final Fantasy’s Chocobo, Nazo no Murasme-jō’s Takamaru, Wario Ware Inc.’s Ashley, Gil from The Tower of Druaga, and Tails and Knuckles of Sonic the Hedgehog fame. Mii Fighters will also be able to suit up with some sweet Bionic Armor. It’s not from anything in particular, but who can say no to bionic armor?

While the Geno and Chocobo outfits are now available for purchase, the rest will be available sometime in February, most likely with the next two characters.

In-game cosmetic options aside, Nintendo also confirmed the development of a handful of upcoming Amiibos including a recolor of R.O.B. and original pieces for Roy and Ryu, all of which are coming on March 18, with Amiibos for the game’s final three characters planned for sometime later on.
