Over the past weekend, over 20,000 World of Tanks fans showed up at Tankfest 2016, a huge increase over last year’s 6,000. The event took place in the UK with folks coming in from all over Europe. Wargaming personnel were on hand as well, including Richard Cutland, the military historical specialist with the company. Check out the event video below to see how awesome this annual even truly is.
General: XBox One – Win10 Play Anywhere to Launch September 13th
During last month’s E3, Microsoft announced the ‘Play Anywhere’ feature for XBox One and Windows 10 titles. General: Windward ? Sandbox Fun on the High Seas
The best way to describe Windward would be as a combination of Sid Meier’s Pirates! and a sort of sandbox MMO. You can play the game singleplayer or online with a bunch of other players and the game worlds are all procedurally generated at creation. I haven’t sunk a whole lot of time into the game just yet, but there are definitely a breadth of activities and gameplay styles to pursue on offer.

The first encounter I had with an enemy, I assumed the game was bugged for failing to reveal its health or deterioration as I peppered the creature with arrows.
Landmark: For the Price, It Provides a Fair Amount of Entertainment
Landmark started out as a game tied very closely to EverQuest Next. Unfortunately, EverQuest Next was canceled and now Landmark has launched as a standalone game. I don’t tend to often enjoy sandbox games too much and I’ve never really gotten into the whole “Minecraft” sorts of games, so for me Landmark was really different from the usual… and it is quite enjoyable though there are a few issues.
