The Dying Light team has announced that an expansion to the game is forthcoming and that the team will be ready to show off a portion of it at Gamescom. Season Pass holders will receive the expansion for free or it is available as a separate purchase.

There is no sense in avoiding the demon in the dungeon. Due to a lack of staff CU Beta was delayed until further notice. It’s obviously a disappointment for many backers but it’s also a symbol of how much the genre has changed. Back in my day Beta wasn’t "delayed". Beta usually had 4 stages and concluded with "open beta tests" and most scrubs like me didn’t get in until phase 4, or worst case scenario, open beta.
Chris Whiteside, currently in attendance at this year’s ChinaJoy, has hinted that Firefall will be coming to PlayStation 4 (no word on XBox One, however). He reached out to Managing Editor Bill Murphy directly to let us know that it had been announced at Sony’s Press Conference. The Repopulation servers will be down for up to eight hours today beginning at 10:00 am Eastern / 7:00 am Pacific in order to bring a large patch online. The update will include animation improvements, holiday events, a musical minigame, bug fixes and enhancements.
