This week at Star Wars Celebration we got to see early pre-alpha footage of Star Wars: Battlefront. Now, before we get started, the launch date is Nov. 17th. Not only that, but on December 1st if you pre-order the game you will get the first free DLC for The Battle of Jaku. Jaku just so happens to be the desert planet you see in The Force Awakens trailers. That alone surprised us yesterday at the press demo. However, let’s get down to the nuts and bolts of the blasters in this game.
The Camelot Unchained team has announced that it will be opening the server for backers to participate in a special 24-hour session. The special event will take place on Saturday, April 18th through Sunday, April 19th.

Cryptic Studios has announced that Season 10 – The Iconian War will be released on Tuesday, April 21st. In addition, Cryptic also snapped up another Star Trek: Voyager actor to bring voice talents to Star Trek Online. Robert McNeill will be reprising his Voyager role as pilot Tom Paris. In STO, Paris will be in command of his own ship and will have been living in Star Fleet space with his wife B’Elanna.
Making sacrifices to the Gods in a remote sanctuary dedicated to a particular deity is so cliche, yet it a perfect scenario to drive an objective for a Campaign. Gathering the right item, moving it to the appropriate location and then sacrificing said item all in the name of Victory Points and of course appease the Gods with your righteous sacrifice.
Although I haven’t played The Lord of the Rings Online since about the Siege of Mirkwood / Rise of Isengard era, there was a time when it was my go-to MMORPG regardless of what else I was playing. I’ve spent countless hours in Turbine’s representation of Middle-earth, and find that I still measure other MMOs up against the quality of their flagship title.
