GamesIndustry.biz is reporting that Linda "Brasse" Carlson has joined Trion Worlds as the Director of Community Relations. Carlson was formerly Community Manager at Sony Online Entertainment and was subsequently laid off shortly after the company was sold off by Sony and became Daybreak Game Company.
The frog-like Hylek will be the stars of this week’s Guild Wars 2 Points of Interest. Game Designer Andy McLeod and Content Designer Matthew Medina will join the show to talk about the Hylek, their design and how they will be a force in Heart of Thorns. In addition, Hugh Norfolk will be on hand for the latest lesson in the PvP 101 series.

Heroes & Generals has been updated with one of its largest-ever patches. Named for German General Willibald Utz, the update brings a huge new assault map called Forward Airfield to the game. In addition, bug fixes and feature enhancements play a prominent role in the patch.
The Temple of Elemental Evil is one of the most widely known modules ever created for D&D. Written by Gary Gygax and Frank Mentzer it was originally designed as an adventure for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons and took place in the World of Greyhawk. Released in 1985 ToEE set the standard for massive modules.
