ArenaNet has posted a new blog to let Guild Wars 2 players know that the World vs World map component required to complete the "World Completion" achievement has been removed. The next time players log into the game, the updated totals will be reconfigured to accurately reflect the change.
NCSoft has terminated three developers on the Project HON team for allegedly embezzling millions of Korean Won. According to reports, the employees outsourced portions of HON’s development to a company with which they had "intimate ties", resulting in the ability to steal funds.
A new notice has been posted on the EverQuest Next main forum that lets users know that both the Lore and General Discussion forums will be shut down effective immediately. In the short term, the forums have been temporarily archived as ‘read-only’ but will disappear for good in April. Daybreak’s Dexella cites corporate restructuring as the reason behind the forum closure.
CCP has announced that a new art book for EVE Online is in the works. The book will cover ten years of EVE and will also include pieces from DUST 514 and Valkyrie. The concept pieces comprise a coffee table sized book of about 192 pages, a million words and is being published in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics.
Vidiludi has let us know that Immune will be released on Steam on March 25th. Developers describe Immune as a top-down, post apocalyptic, cartoon, survival, sandbox MMO. If that’s not a mouthful, nothing is. Immune was recently ‘greenlit’ on Steam, also where the game will be released.
Cryptic Studios has announced that the next Neverwinter module, Elemental Evil, will be released on April 7th. Originally slated for a March 17th release, Cryptic felt that, given the scope of the module, the team needed more time to deliver a high quality, finely tuned module to players.
Webzen has sent out a new trailer to show off the Aimon race that will be coming to Sevencore soon. Aimon, though small, are often underestimated in a fight and bring a few racial buffs to teammates including mount energy and regeneration out of battle.
Petroglyph has announced that its upcoming battle arena game, Victory Command, is ready to begin accepting closed beta applications. Victory Command is new twist on MOBAs that utilizes an RTS setting. Players begin with three basic units, with new units unlocking as the player progresses.
