One topic dominated headlines at E3 this year: cloud gaming. Whether it’s Google’s launch into the gaming space with Stadia, or Microsoft’s move with xCloud, it seems like big players now see the technology’s potential. But what of the pioneers that have been living the dream for years?

The Ship of Heroes team has pushed out a new video to showcase the in-game auction house called “Ivar & Sons”. The video showcases a character putting an item on the auction house using the “seemingly simple,” yet robust system. “Functional trading system for players? Check!” the blog reads.
Bandai Namco has announced new details about its upcoming “online ARPG” Blue Protocol. Closed alpha testing will kick off this month with three days of testing for several hours each day. Four classes will be available to try out including Aegis Fighter, Twin Striker, Blast Archer, and Spell Caster. To help set the stage for the anime-inspired title, Bandai Namco sent out a new trailer and some information about the game.
On July 10th, Black Desert Online players will be able to take part in a new PvE activity called Altar of Blood. Parties of three level 56+ players will be fighting in a defensive horde mode with each round of the battle getting more difficult and with more powerful enemies. Each round will feature an “end boss” that has to be defeated in order for the next round to begin up to a maximum of ten rounds.
