Everyone has a fighting chance
Grand Theft Auto Online is the gift that just keeps on giving. This week, players can check out the new Missile Base Series that sends players back to The Doomsday Scenario setting with nine classic modes available including Resurrection, Slasher, Every Bullet Counts to name a few. The action all takes place inside Mt. Chiliad’s Missile Silo and players can take home double rewards through May 29th.
For a number of technical reasons, TERA will be moving to the En Masse Launcher starting today. The goal is to provide an improved experience to the entire En Masse player community as well as to the specific TERA community. “The En Masse Launcher, and other upcoming changes, are part of a company-wide effort aimed at changing the philosophy” that benefits individual games, but provided “less value” to the player community as a whole.
Dauntless is raking in some big numbers thanks to its launch on May 21st for PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The first day, Dauntless saw over a half-million new Slayers head into the game before cruising over the 4M player mark worldwide. Players have been hard at it as well with over two million hours spent in game and by completing over three million hunts.
From now through June 3rd, Lord of the Rings Online players can take part in the Spring Festival. Players will travel through the game world to visit both Bree-land and Ered Luin to take part in the festivities.
The next update to Guild Wars 2 will feature some big changes to attribute-selectable gear. The goal is to “reduce the confusion about which attribute combinations are available on any given piece of gear”. Moving forward, most attribute-selectable gear will only feature attribute combinations available on a player’s account dependent on the expansions owned. Exceptions to this reset include Crafted Backpacks, Elite Specialization Armor/Rewards, & Attribute combos related to raids & fractals.

While we don’t have a release date yet, we do know that DC Universe Online is coming to Nintendo Switch sometime in Summer 2019. Daybreak Game devs revealed that some changes have had to be made to bring the superhero MMO to a mobile platform and that it was a daunting task.
AxE: Alliance vs Empire is a hundred days old and Nexon is celebrating the mobile game’s success with a large content update that includes a new dungeon, several events and the release of the massive 150-player PvP mode. In addition, players will receive some gifts from the dev team simply for logging in during the campaign.
Hunter’s Arena is an upcoming indie title from Korean developer Matisco. To showcase gameplay from Hunter’s Arena, the devs have rolled out a new trailer ahead of the Q3 early access release for PC.
From May 23rd to May 25th, EVE Online Steam players can take home a free Invasion Starter Kit that contains a number of goodies for new pilots. Players will receive a week’s worth of Omega premium access, 250k Skill Points, a Standard Cerebral Accelerator, 5x Tier 1 Abyssal Filaments, Ship SKINs from previous events and the Blood Raider apparel. Players can claim the gift starting today at 10:00 am Pacific / 1:00 pm Eastern.
