Activision-Blizzard has released its Q1 2019 financial results and have beaten expectations. The company projected $1.715 billion in revenue and achieved $1.825B, though that number is significantly lower than Q1 2018 that saw nearly $2B brought in. ATVI suggested that the strong performance came at the hands of its core franchises including Overwatch League business operations and the sale of five teams to cities participating in the Call of Duty city-based league.
Blizzard has announced that players may have ten characters per realm in World of Warcraft: Classic. However, players can have up to fifty characters spread across all of the Classic realms in a player’s region. Players may also have characters of only one faction on PvP realms and there will be “no overlap or regard with the character limits in Battle for Azeroth”. This means that a player can have up to fifty characters in Classic and fifty more characters in BfA though it sounds exhausting!
ASTRO. In the world of gaming accessories, it’s almost a household name thanks to their popular gaming headsets. This month, the company is breaking new ground with the ASTRO C40 TR Gaming Controller for PS4 and PC. The C40 comes to stores at $199, looking to dominate the custom controller market. It’s a premium piece of kit at a premium price but in the right hands, could it make you a better gamer?
The second in a series of articles and videos designed to introduce fans to the clans in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has arrived, this time centered on the Brujah. This group is the first full-blood Vampire clan and is considered to be filled with “rebels and firestarters who favor brute strength and celebrate the raw power of their bloodline”.

It was a curiously low key announcement and there still isn’t a trailer to be found, but Onslaught is coming in September and I’m glad that we’re getting it. Let’s dig in.

From today through May 6th, players who have been wanting to try out Elder Scrolls Online can do so for free during the Free Trial Event. The event is taking place during the ESO 5th Anniversary Celebration. For the duration of the event, trial players will gain access to ESO Plus benefits including full access to all DLC content, a crafting back, double bank space, +10% bonus XP and gold acquisition, and more.
Square Enix has announced that owners of the Final Fantasy XIV base game (A Realm Reborn) or the FFXIV Online Starter Edition will be able to add the Heavensward expansion to their account for free and be able to “keep it in perpetuity”. The expansion offer is available to players on PlayStation 4, PC and Mac.
