Players Can Now Explore Nazjatar on the World of Warcraft PTR
World of Warcraft players can now head into the PTR to check out the Nazjatar zone that will be coming to the Battle of Azeroth expansion when 8.2 – Rise of Azshara rolls out. Nazjatar is a large zone that will feature a number of new mechanics and content including “rare mobs, treasures, timed events, PvP War Mode events and World Quests”. In addition, the massive 8-boss Mechagon dungeon is open for testing.
Ashes of Oahu Team Details What Players Can Expect for Launch
In the first in a series of blog posts on the Ashes of Oahu site, the development team reveals what players can expect when the game launches. The series begins with “What is Ashes of Oahu” and introduces readers to the basic elements of the game, some of its unique lore and what makes it different than other RPGs on the market. Subsequent articles will “deep dive” into specific topics and features.

Epic Games Snaps Up Rocket League Developer Psyonix
Epic Games has announced that it has purchased San Diego developer, Psyonix. Psyonix is best known for Rocket League, its popular Unreal Engine game. Rocket League will be making the move to the Epic Games Store later in 2019, though, at least for the time being, it will remain for sale on Steam. Epic has further clarified that it will continue to support the Steam version with DLC, patches and any other content that is released for PC.
Borderlands 3 Won’t Have Microtransactions, But It Will Have Lots of DLC
During yesterday’s Borderlands 3 livestream extravaganza, it was revealed that, while the game won’t have microtransactions in the “traditional sense”, there will be DLC for sale as the game matures. “We’ve made a commitment to what Borderlands is and supposed to be,” said Randy Pitchford. “Our fans have told us loud and clear that they cherish and want us to preserve in Borderlands 3. There’s no microtransaction-y, free-to-play kind of stuff.”
Star Trek Online to Feature a Junior Officer Weekend with a 50% Bonus to Commendation XP
Over the course of the upcoming weekend, Star Trek Online will be featuring a Junior Officer Weekend that will see players earn +50% Commendation XP by completing Duty Officer assignments. In addition, players can claim a free Purple quality duty officer “with a unique active roster power”. This is only available to Captains who have not yet claimed a duty officer in prior events.
DC Universe Online Updated with the Spring Event, New Character Models & QoL Improvements
DC Universe Online has been patched to Game Update 94 that brings a host of new content into the game including the springtime seasonal event with its new Feats, new Spring-themed base items, suit and a Blossoming Spore pet. As players work through the event, they collect Seed Pods to purchase items from a special vendor.
