Next Wild Appalachia Update for Fallout 76 Sends Players on a Mystery-Laden Quest

When the next Wild Appalachia update is deployed to Fallout 76, players will have a new questline called Lying Lowe where they are sent off on a game-wide search for clues. Lying Lowe is “an all-new questline that’s shrouded in mystery, deception, and rumors of a ferocious cryptid roaming the Wasteland”. Players will need to read a series of posters and unravel their meaning in order to work their way to “Sheepsquatch”, the “fabled wooly terror of West Virginia”.

The RPG Files: Grimshade Review

In May of 2018 Talerock successfully kickstarted their game Grimshade. It is a story driven RPG with tactical style battles. Grimshade released March 26, 2019, and we were happy to be able to get our hands on it and give it a go. Grimshade does some things that different that sets itself apart from traditional RPG’s. Guild Wars 2: What’s Next

Several Z1 Battle Royale Developers Laid Off, Future of the Game Remains Unknown

Adam “Arclegger” Clegg, lead designer of Z1 Battle Royale, has tweeted that he has been laid off by NantG, a move that may spell big trouble for the game formerly known as H1Z1. Clegg also penned a lengthy farewell to the community and to the development team that is a mea culpa of sorts about the rocky road the game has traveled since first revealed years ago.

Warframe’s Plains of Eidolon on PC Receives a New Graphical Paint Job

Warframe for PC has been updated with a graphical update to the Plains of Eidolon. Much of the technology used in Fortuna has been brought into Eidolon including dynamic lighting, textures, atmosphere and a resurfaced terrain. In addition, Tusk Thumpers have been added alongside conservation. Digital Extremes believes that new terrain offers players more gameplay options, particularly for K-Drive players with more terrain to “jump off and grind on”.

Darkness Falls in SMITE with a New Assault Map, Wicked New Skins & More

SMITE has been updated with the Darkness Falls patch that is anchored by a new Assault Map. “Ragnarok has come and gone, transforming Asgard in the process”, the patch notes read. The map has new art assets to give it a darker, more foreboding feel, but also comes along with new gameplay mechanics “to encourage more fighting”.

Dauntless Has a New Interactive Map that Paves the Way to the Future

The Dauntless site has been updated with a new interactive roadmap to provide the community with a peek into the game’s future. The map is divided into four sections: Improved Interface, Deeper Combat, Expanding Universe and More Activities. Clicking each section reveals more precise details about what will be changing along with a brief developer comment about why.

Dead by Daylight is Free to Play on Steam This Weekend

If you’re looking for something different to do this weekend, you may want to check out Dead by Daylight. The 4v1 horror game will be free to play on Steam throughout the weekend and all of the game’s many DLC are on sale. The base game itself is a cool $10.
