If you’re looking for something different to do this weekend, you may want to check out Dead by Daylight. The 4v1 horror game will be free to play on Steam throughout the weekend and all of the game’s many DLC are on sale. The base game itself is a cool $10.
The Star Wars: The Old Republic team has posted a teaser for a new in-game event called The Dantooine Incursion. This new event will join other recurring events “such as Rakghoul Resurgence and Relics of the Gree”. The action takes place on the distant planet of Dantooine where the Republic is looking to gain a foothold due to its proximity to Sith Empire space.
When Legends Reborn launches into Blade & Soul on April 10th, it will come with a number of significant changes to a variety of systems throughout the game. Dungeons and Raids,in particular, will be altered throughout the game. Several will have difficulty lowered, while others will receive buff increases. Other features going under the knife for changes include in-game events, items including costumes, bracelets, reward selection chests and more.

When Fractured hits its first alpha phase on April 10th, it will be the first time “high tier” backers of the game will be able to get in and try it out for themselves and, best of all, it will not be covered by an NDA during its weeklong duration. Backers at the Knight level and higher will have access to Test 1, with a second testing phase coming in Q2 2019 and possibly open to more players.
On April 30th, players looking for an anime action MMO will want to check out KurtzPel when it launches into Steam Early Access. Later this summer, KurtzPel will be released as a free to play title, however, those leveraging early access will have a chance to check the game out early and to receive exclusive costume sets for purchasing a Founder’s Pack.
Ubisoft has released a new trailer ahead of tomorrow’s release of Part 1 of Invasion: Battle for D.C. Tidal Basin is the first part in a yearlong series of content releases that sees the Black Tusk’s most formidable stronghold become available “along with new exotic weapons, gear sets, events and more”. Operation Dark Hours will come on April 25th and a 4th specialization will be “coming soon”.

Ther latest developer diary has been posted on the Population Zero Reddit that goes over the team’s philosophy about the in-game questing system. While Population Zero is considered a survival game, it flies in the face of “normal” mechanics by offering players quests “to help them get used to the new planet, reveal its secrets and interact with each other”. Quests are designed to provide direction and ease players into the immersive game experience.
