Nexon has announced that pre-registrations for its upcoming dino-themed mobile MMO, Durango. Players can swing by Google Play or the Durango website to sign up and will later “earn exclusive in-game rewards and items at launch”. The only confirmation of a release date provided is “later this year”.

Nine Dots Studio’s new release Outward is an open-world adventure RPG that throws the player into a brutal world as a nobody. The game is set up to have the player adventure through a dangerous world, while starting out as an absolute nobody. There isn’t any magical hero off to fulfill a prophecy here, just trying to go out into the world to find a home and make a few bucks on the side. But, will the game provide a worthwhile journey? The good folks at Gameumentary have produced a nearly half-hour documentary about Shirley “The Gaming / Skyrim Grandma” Curry. The show centers on Shirley’s 83rd birthday and a Skyrim gaming session. It’s a feel-good look at an amazing personality that has earned her “thousands of passionate fans” and how their lives…and hers…have changed for the better.
In case you missed it, the Ashes of Creation team took to the airwaves late last week to spend some time answering community questions about the node system that has been the subject of several blog posts on the official site. The team covered a number of topics related to nodes including the parent/vassal node system, travel between nodes and more about the node destruction system.
En Masse Entertainment has announced that console players on XBox One and PlayStation 4 can now enter the game to check out TERA Reloaded. “TERA: Reloaded is one of the biggest updates yet with reworked systems, a new race/class combination and much more,” reads the press announcement. Anchoring today’s update is the Elin Gunner who ready to bring high-octane firepower to any party.
Closers players will have a new character to play when the icy cool Bai launches into the game on April 23rd. Her story and the events that will accompany her arrival will be unlocking over the coming weeks but players will be able to create Bai next week and reserve her name so she’s ready to roll on launch day.
Starting today, Red Dead Online players can enjoy the new Up in Smoke Showdown Mode. Players begin with an explosive package and work to deliver it to the enemy’s base in an attempt to blow up a piece of their camp. The more delivered, the more destruction and the first team to decimate the opponent, wins.
ArenaNet’s Mike Zadorojny has penned a new letter on the Guild Wars 2 site entitled “What’s Next?” In it, Zadorojny reiterates the company’s core philosophy that, according to the post, has not changed. The team believes that “the Living World of Guild Wars 2 is a great way” to accomplish each of the five pillars of the game.
