BioWare Responds to Kotaku Article Criticizing Troubled Anthem Game Development

Earlier today, Kotaku put up a scathing article about the missteps in the development of BioWare’s Anthem. Most notably, employees have reported crushing development cycles, mismanagement, trademark issues and much more that led up to its February 2019 released that “was panned by fans and critics”. Moments after the article was published, BioWare published a response to the article citing its value of studio workplace culture and its appreciation of its staff.

Not So MMO: LifeAfter Review

Chinese developer/publisher NetEase is no stranger to the mobile arena. While we wait to see how Diablo Immortal turns out, they recently released LifeAfter, an MMORPG with survival elements in the West. While many titles re-released to new markets struggle with translation, NetEase did a stand-up�job with the English translation. Celebrate 5 Years of Elder Scrolls Online During the Five Week In-Game Extravaganza

Starting April 4th and running through May 9th, Elder Scrolls Online players will be able to take part in a celebratory event in honor of the game’s 5th anniversary. Players will get a quest to back this year’s Jubilee Cake that grants +100% XP for two hours. Each week of the event will spotlight different types of daily quests where players can earn unique rewards and will also award Indrik Berries for those still collecting them.

Players will be able to create unique land and air vehicles to take on other players in battle. There are a huge “number of components and an impressive arsenal for crushing foes on land and in the air”. If it can be built, it can be used. “Go ahead and build a terrifying, steam-powered, mechanical Frankenstein’s monster!”
