Robot Entertainment Reveals ReadySet Heroes for PS4, A Dungeon Crawler with a Twist

Robot Entertainment, developers behind Orcs Must Die!, have announced a brand new game for PlayStation 4 called ReadySet Heroes, a “fast-paced multiplayer dungeon crawler that packs a big twist”. Players will arrive in randomly-generated dungeons where players work to kill monsters, collect loot and arrive at the end where…a winner-take-all arena brawl kicks off. The fast players go through, the stronger they’ll be when the brawl begins.

Outward Devs Talk About the Bane & Boon of Cooperative Gameplay

The Outward team has posted a new video developer diary to speak to both the bane and the boon of playing the game cooperatively with another player. Players can choose how to interact with the game with one, for example, carrying the burdens the pair collect and one taking on all combat. Or will it be something else? Cooperative gameplay can be experienced in split screen or online.

No Man’s Sky to Set Players Off on a New VR Adventure

When the next big update comes to No Man’s Sky, it will be bringing virtual reality with it. It will be compatible with every available headset and will be available on both Steam for PC and PlayStation 4 for PSVR. The Beyond update is currently planned for summer 2019.

Players Can Unlock a Free Guild Wars 2 Episode This Week

As part of the “Welcome Back to Guild Wars 2” campaign over the coming weeks, players will be able to check out a variety of live streams and unlock in-game content. This week, for instance, players can unlock the Daybreak episode. All that is required is to log into the game, head to the Gem Store and unlock the episode for free. This promotion will last through April 1st.

World of Warcraft: Looking Ahead to Patch 8.2

Recently my guild was talking about all the things in World of Warcraft which have been frustrating us in BfA and the comment “it should get better in 8.2” was made. It seems like many of us are looking forward to the next major patch to improve the game substantially. Plus with 8.1.5 out and Crucible of Storms on the horizon, it seemed like an excellent point to recap some of the things which will have the biggest impact in the 8.2 Rise of Azshara patch.

Digital Extremes Pulling Out All the Stops for the 6th Anniversary Warframe Celebration

It’s been six years since Warframe launched and Digital Extremes is pulling out all the stops for the big event starting March 27th. Players can score a free Liset Dex skin and the Excalibur Dex Noggle for free. In addition, players “will also be able to earn all previous Dex items by completing special Anniversary Alerts”. These Dex items include Dex Furis, Dex Nouchali Syandana, Dex Dakra, Dex Sybaris and the Excalibur Dex Skin. The event runs through April 13th.
