It is extremely funny to me that one of Season 2’s most controversial changes, Gigas’s DF+1 nerf, was almost immediately reverted.

Frame 2:
You can now view frame data with this overlay for SoulCalibur VI on PC

Now if only those people with PCs could share that data with the rest of us console scum. (That’s me, by the way.)

Frame 3:
Learn to neutralize the 2A+G/2B+K Ivy mixup in SoulCalibur VI

This is an annoying entry level mixup that you’ll have to deal with at all levels of play.

Bandai Namco may ban “inappropriate custom characters” from playing online in SoulCalibur VI

Did you ever stop think about the fact that, because of this news, it’s someone’s job to check for dongs at Namco? A dongchecker. Every day they log in to SoulCalibur VI and look for dongs, and not only do they get paid for it, but they’re graded on their performance. They have meetings about dong quotas.

Can Chun-Li climb the tier list again?

In Street Fighter V, Chun-Li went from a top-tier terror in Season One, to a character Chun mains were eager to drop in Season Two after a round of harsh nerfs. In Season Three, after some buffs and new combo routes the Strongest Woman in the World got a bit closer to re-earning her nickname, but still didn’t make much of a splash on the competitive circuit this year.

With Season Four and inevitable changes for SFVAE looming, VesperArcade and Mir talk about what they want to see “fixed” for Chun-Li in the next big patch: such as improved anti-airing ability, and some tweaks to her throw and second V-Trigger.

What secrets remain to be revealed for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?

We’re creeping up close on the December 7 release date for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch, and it seems there are still more surprises in store from game director Masahiro Sakurai. Nintendo has announced there will be one more Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct on November 1st — hosted by Sakurai himself, with about 40 minutes of new information for eager Smash fans.

Mech F.A.N.G and Mech Juri are the next two costumes coming to Street Fighter V’s Extra Battle mode

Hopefully they don’t just break down in “two minutes”.

You can ensure the safety of the Shadaloo skies with Mech Zangief this week by completing his final challenge in Street Fighter V‘s Extra Battle mode. To follow the Robo-Cyclone in Extra Battle, it seems more mechs are coming off the assembly line. The next Extra Battle costume will be Mech F.A.N.G — probably the flesh-and-blood F.A.N.G’s own creation — and a mech version of Juri will follow afterwards.

As usual, to unlock these costumes you’ll have to complete four Extra Battle challenges (costing Fight Money), one per week. You can activate ohmymy.exe when Mech F.A.N.G’s challenges begin this week on October 26, while we’ll see how sadistic an artificial Juri can be when Mech Juri arrives on November 23.

Akira Toriyama’s new villain Kane is revealed for JUMP FORCE

“The world needs to be remade…”

One of the draws to Bandai Namco’s upcoming tag-team arena fighter JUMP FORCE are new character designs from manga legend and Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama. And via their social media Bandai Namco is now teasing some shots of one such character: Kane, a new villain created just for JUMP FORCE.
