My.com Senior Producer Joshua Morris has posted an end of the year letter for Armored Warfare, a game that entered its open beta phase of development about two months ago. In the letter, Morris thanks players for their incredible amount of feedback that has seen AW undergo some big changes already with more promised for 2016.

Obsidian Entertainment and My.com are playing Santa today and every Armored Warfare player will score the legendary Type 59. All players logging in between now and January 3rd will receive one as thanks for supporting the game.

Obsidian Entertainment and My.com have announced that players will be able to get a first hand look at the new Tier 9 tanks, the most powerful vehicles in the game. Players will also be able to take advantage of a new feature that allows them to make custom matches and much more.

Obsidian Entertainment and My.com have sent out a word that the next update 0.11 will bring new Tier 9 Vehicles to Armored Warfare’s EU and NA servers on November 17th.

Armored Warfare is Obsidian Entertainment’s entry into the arcade tank simulation free to play MMO genre. It is a thoughtfully paced tank shooter with semi-realistic armor mechanics. For those not familiar with the other major entries in this genre, like World of Tanks and War Thunder Ground Forces, Armored Warfare is not a game where your individual twitch skills are the deciding factor.

Obsidian Entertainment and My.com have announced that the global open beta for Armored Warfare has officially commenced. Players can enjoy localized versions in English, German, French, Polish and Russian and can take advantage of several brand new Collector’s Editions, each with a variety of in-game perks.

After monitoring player feedback over the last several weeks, Obsidian Entertainment and My.com have announced that Armored Warfare’s progression system will be undergoing a complete rebalance. Of notable inclusion will be an improved progression mechanic with regard to players reaching higher tiers and faster progress on Military Base progression.

My.com and Obsidian Entertainment have released a brand new trailer and information about Armored Warfare in celebration of the Head Start access for the open beta test. Head Start is limited to Founder’s Pack owners who can play for a week prior to the start of the full open beta.
