Black Desert Online will be getting a big update soon that should impress the clothes horse players in the game. The Clothing System is getting an overhaul that will allow players to mix and match clothing sets at will to claim their own unique look and be able to retain bonuses. Previously, players could only wear full sets. Under the new system, that becomes passe.

The Black Desert Online site has been updated with today’s patch notes that brings the Mystic Awakening online as well as the news that the Flurry of Snowflakes event will kick off tomorrow and run through January 24th.

SEA players will be able to get started in Black Desert Online when launch day officially arrives on January 17th. Pre-orders for the game are available that provide a few days early access to the game. Each package comes with a specific date for early access depending upon which one was purchased.

The South Korean version of Black Desert Mobile will be released in the coming weeks, with a Western release on its way sometime after that. For the first time, Pearl Abyss is directing its attention to the Western market with an extensive FAQ to lay out the details for the game when it comes out.

There’s more! Starting December 6th, you’ll be able to “pre-customize” your Mystic and will receive some nifty gifts just for doing so. These prizes will be handed out once the Mystic is live in game.
