Kakao Games is thanking its community for two years of epic adventures. To do so, a number of items are being given away. The rewards are being given to Conqueror’s Package, Explorer’s Package and Traveller’s Package pre-order owners. The Black Desert Online team has posted a lengthy article to address recent server issues experienced by both North American and European players. As a result of the weeks’ long problems, Kakao will be compensating players for with in-game items. In addition, the team has detailed steps it will be taking to improve communication with the community.

It’s only Wednesday, but the Black Desert Online team is ready to celebrate Thanksgiving with a pair of in-game events as well as a number of sales on in game items including the premium Pearls currency.

The Black Desert Online forum has a good news post for players who have been frustrated over rampant disconnects over the past few weeks. The issue has been identified by the server host provider, Leaseweb, and has been resolved, though the team will be closely monitoring the issue going forward.

Thanks to WNxbadboy 3, we now know that Black Desert Online is now available in two more regions. Both the SEA version and the Thai version have launched, each with its own official website and more.

Black Desert Online will soon be festooned for Halloween with misty pathways and “creepy music” playing as holiday happenings descend. Players will be able to take on Isabella the Black Witch for some fantastic rewards as well as complete Halloween Challenges each day for coins, candy baskets and cookies. These special currencies can be exchanged at the White Witch for Cron Stones, Sharp Black Crystal Shards, Advice of Valks or a Fine Accessory Box.

After the completion of today’s maintenance, Black Desert Online players will be able to journey to the Elven lands of Kamasylvia in the first part of the expansion’s release. It is the homeland of the Ranger and Dark Knight archetypes as well as the location of the Old Wisdom Tree.

Kakao Games and PearlAbyss have announced that the Black Desert Online soundtrack is headed for a complete remaster at the hands of the National Orchestra of Halle in Germany as well as orchestras from Prague and Budapest. The newly recorded and re-arranged tracks, all 240 of them, will replace the original MIDI soundtrack.

Black Desert Online fans will soon have a ton of new content to explore when the first half of the Kamasylvia expansion launches on September 27th. The second part will “arrive soon” after, according to PearlAbyss and Kakao Games. The content expansion is free to all players and brings new quests and background information about both Rangers and Dark Knights.
