Kakao developers have gone on record via the Black Desert Online forums to let players know that a new ban wave has been applied to help remove those using third party software to gain an advantage in the game.

The Black Desert Online Reddit site has been updated with a news post that reveals a lawsuit filed in France by Daum EU (rebranded as Kakao EU) against bot maker Julian Bosch, creator of the PYX bot for BDO. The company is asking the court for $500 per bot sold.

Yesterday the Korean Black Desert Online team unveiled the naval content expansion and today there is great news for NA and EU players: The naval content update will be heading this way in Quarter 4 2016.

In case you didn’t yet know, both the Ninja and Kunoichi classes have arrived in Black Desert and players have an additional character slot to make room to try one or the other out.

The Korean version will be updating on July 21st with a naval adventure that will take players to the high seas. Players will find a new continent to explore, more ships, sea monsters, maritime battle and trading and much more.

After what seems an eternity, Black Desert Online players can take part in the Siege & Node War now that it’s been deployed on live servers. Siege Warfare will take place on a daily basis with culminating battles on Saturdays. The schedule for both NA and EU servers is posted on the forum so check and be sure you are ready.

The Black Desert Online team will be on hand during next month’s Gamescom to show off the game including not-yet seen Class Awakenings, 5v5 PvP matches that can net prizes for winners and other goodies given away to attendees. The booth will feature 82 PCs for players to check out the game with devs on hand to offer friendly advice.

A Reddit thread caught my eye this morning with the topic titled “How hard would it be to start today and catch up and be competitive”. Despite some solid responses from the Black Desert Online community, I thought it was a particularly strange subject to raise and one that unearthed a variety of preconceived ideas as to what Black Desert Online is and what it’s offering.

The Black Desert Online forum has a pair of interesting posts. In the first, it has been confirmed with Pearl Abyss that players will receive an additional character slot when the Ninja and Kuniochi classes are released next week.

Black Desert players have a lot to look forward to next week with Node & Siege Warfare ready to get started on Sunday, July 17th and the Ninja / Kunoichi class coming to the game on July 20th.
