Black Desert Online: Servers Under DDoS Attack Again

Black Desert Online is under DDoS attack for the second time in about as many weeks. The team has acknowledged the attack and is working to resolve the issue. The report came nearly a full day ago, but as recently as a half hour ago, the problem still existed.

Thanks to our own HoldenHamlet for this find: It appears that CD hacks and skill spammer hacks have been shut down in an unreported piece of recent updates. Reddit user Ninjamonke wrote that it appears that the death of these hacks is legit from statements made in the BDO bot maker’s Discord channel from both staff and developers of the programs.

To anyone who might have heard a rumor that Black Desert Online Project Manager Daniel Loehr had been fired, please consider yourself disabused of the notion. We reached out to Daum EU’s Rick van Beem about the rumor and were told that Daniel is a proud new father currently on paternity leave for a couple of months.
