This was another big week for reviews at GameSpace.com with our staff plugging away at the best games out there to see if they’re worth your hard-earned cash. We have reviews of such big games as Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite and Battle Chasers as well as smaller, yet no less important, games like, Pylon and Caveman Warriors. This week we’re ranking the 10 best story-driven MMOs of all time. That means we’re going to try and put numbers on feelings we all have for the narratives we play through when we’re living in these virtual worlds. It’s a tall order, and one we’re sure you’ll have some mixed emotions over. Without further ado, here are our 10 Best Story Driven MMOs of All Time.

PVP in MMOs is a hotly contested topic. Some folks want all or nothing, some want it casually, some don’t ever touch the competitive player versus player side of games. But one thing’s for sure… PVP is huge part of what makes an MMORPG thrive or die on the vine. In this week’s list we’re looking at the ten best PVP-centric MMOs of all time.

This week Fortnite launched their Battle Royale expansion giving players the chance to compete against each other in a hunger games style scenario. Many people in video games will try new things and usually see modes of games coming into play from other games in the market. This is how it has been for years. That is until the news that Player Unknown Battlegrounds is clearly not happy with the Battle Royale style content. So what happens now?

MMOs are supposed to last forever, or as long as possible. EverQuest is nearing 20 years old, and the lesser known Meridian 59 is over two decades old. But due to circumstance, poor decisions, or otherwise, some of the best and most loved games in our genre don’t last nearly as long as they should. In today’s list we’re celebrating the very best of the games that have been cancelled, shut down, or outright murdered by poor decisions.

This past week was a huge one for reviews of big name titles over at GameSpace.com. Having never played any of the Dishonored series before Death of the Outsider, I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into. Stealth games have never been my forte, and Death of the Outsider reminded me why that is. But by the end of the relatively short Death of the Outsider, I could teleport and set traps with the best of them. It only took me a dozen hours and hundreds of deaths to beat those lessons.

Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One earlier this month to great fanfare. The isometric RPG made by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Paradox Interactive, the biggest question going into the game was not whether or not it would be a great game – critics and fans alike agreed that PoE was stellar on PC. The question stemmed from how well the interface and controls would translate to a gamepad and television screen.

It feels like this is a list we should revisit every so often, especially as games change, games launch, and games die in the world of MMORPGs. The following is a list we compiled using something we like to call “our hearts and minds and asses”. Our Top 10 Great MMOs of All Time list is merely our own thoughts, put to paper. We absolutely welcome your own insight, and soon we’ll begin a poll of our users to catalog the Players’ Choice for 2017 too. Now, let’s get on with it!
