When I first heard about Far Cry 5 and the possibility to play the entire game as part of a duo, I jumped at the opportunity to review it based on that alone. My partner in crime, Shelassa, and I have spent the better part of the last week playing through FC5 in tandem to see the story and to test out the duo-player mechanics.

I’ve been dabbling in Defiance “The OG” on PC for a week or so, in anticipation of the upcoming Defiance 2050 beta weekend, to get a feel for what the original is like and what I hope the new game improves upon. I dove into Ni no Kuni II with few expectations. While the first game was well received I did not play it. So while I’m hopeful this second entry into the franchise will be good I do not come attached with any preconceived notions.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 succeeds in carrying over everything that was great about the first game while managing to push the genre forward in a fresh way. After spending several late nights hacking and slashing my way through hordes of ratmen and other evils I can honestly say that it’s the most fun I’ve had in a co-op shooter in a long time. So grab that coffee, kick back and enjoy our review of Warhammer: Vermintide 2.
As someone who has never played a Yakuza game until now, I was initially tentative in picking up Yakuza 6: The Song of Life to review. A game with such a storied and beloved history felt like something a newcomer such as myself just couldn’t navigate. Yet within the first hour I was hooked.
