The Conan Exiles team isn’t stopping with content additions to the game. Once things are more settled after today’s start of the Early Access program, Funcom will be working on a number of improvements and feature additions to the game.

Funcom has sent out the latest information about Conan Exiles. With launch set for January 31st, the first pricing information has been revealed. The Standard Edition will run $29.99 and the Barbarian Edition is priced at $59.99. The Barbarian Edition features a digital comic plus six more from Dark Horse at a later time. Players will also receive a special t-shirt, a digital RPG core book for the tabletop version, original stories, in-game items for Age of Conan and an art book.
Conan Exiles – Leveraging the Favor of the Gods
The role of religion and the avatars of the gods is the subject of the latest developer blog on the Conan Exiles site. Each god is given a brief introduction before delving into the importance of gaining the favor of the gods on the way to the “ultimate reward for worshipping the gods” – the ability to summon their Avatar to wreak havoc on enemies.
Conan Exiles – Player Feedback Integral to New PvP / PvE & Reset Rules
The Conan Exiles Reddit has been updated with a new post from Funcom that has good news for those who expressed convern with the recent announcement that servers would be wiped every 30 days. As a direct result of player feedback, Funcom has made the decision to implement official PvP, PvE and PvP Blitz servers. Only PvP Blitz servers will be reset on the 30-day schedule with PvP and PvE servers not being reset at all. Player-run servers can select their own reset rules.
Conan Exiles – Keeping the Sandbox Filled with Lore
The Conan Exiles site has been updated with a new post that details the importance of lore in the game. The world is crafted around the literary works of Robert E. Howard, a world, the post says, that can offer players “an intensely rich universe full of great deeds, dark magic and high adventure”. Conan Exiles takes that vision and is inspired by the events between a pair of stories written in the 30s (“Xuthal of the Dusk” and “A Witch Shall be Born”).
Conan Exiles – Funcom Reveals System Specs, Server Controls & Mod Support
A new Conan Exiles Steam update has been posted that reveals both the minimum and recommended system specifications. Conan Exiles will be available in Steam Early Access on January 31st. Check out the specs to see if your system measures up. In addition, Funcom also revealed how server controls will function as well as some information about mod support for the forthcoming title.
Conan Exiles – It’s A Wild World – New Blog Explores the Bestiary
The latest in a series of Conan Exiles developer blogs has been posted, this time taking a look at some of the creatures players can expect to encounter. Common and uncommon critters will inhabit the game world, each also being eligible for hunting, killing and harvesting resources. From rabbits to crocodiles to humanoid imps to gazelle, rhinos and ostriches, the land is filled with wildlife. But beware, all isn’t docile and pretty.

Funcom has released a new Conan Exiles video to get players pumped up for the coming early access period slated to begin on January 31st. In this latest trailer, viewers get a look at how cities will rise and fall. Using the flexible building system, players will be able to create mountainside fortresses and how friend or foe can summon giant god avatars to destroy the hard work of creation.
