Elder Scrolls Online – Morrowind Early Access Begins, Vvardenfell Basics

The Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind Early Access program has started today, a full two weeks ahead of the release of the expansion. In addition to players finally getting hands on the game, the site has been updated with a “basics guide to Vvardenfell”. It includes how to get there, things to look for while exploring, creatures encountered, how to join battlegrounds / delves / public dungeons and more.

With the start of the Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind early access program on May 22nd, the team decided that folks might need a bit of direction with regard to adventuring throughout the new locations. The official site has been updated with the Morrowind Adventure Guide to help players get off to a great start with the new content.

Current Elder Scrolls Online players who upgrade with the Morrowind expansion will gain early access to the new content beginning May 22nd. Those who have purchased a physical collector’s edition will need to contact customer support to activate early access. New players purchasing ESO: Morrowind will gain access on launch day, June 6th.

Elder Scrolls Online – In-House Q&A with the Team Behind the Warden

A trio of developers took part in an in-house Q&A about Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind and the upcoming warden class. Lead Combat Designer Eric Wrobel, Senior Animator Silvia Littlefield, and Lead VFX Artist Cambria Blaize all were on hand to answer questions ranging from why the decision to make it a nature-based theme to how the new class will be balanced compared to others to its unique skills to name just a few.

Elder Scrolls Online – A New Vvardenfell Shines in Latest Trailer

In celebration of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Bethesda has released a brand new trailer to show off the forthcoming Elder Scrolls Online expansion, Morrowind. Called “A New Chapter in Vvardenfell”, the video features a lot of great ESO Morrowind footage as well as some developer commentary. It’s a fantastic forward look at the expansion and a nostalgic reference to its predecessor.
