The guys at Rush Hour Smash teamed up with Azurin and Tweek to bring us a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U combo video that they’re calling “Momentum.” Just a few seconds of this footage and its easy to see why the chosen title is appropriate: once the attacks start coming, they don’t stop until the poor soul on the receiving end hits a blast zone.

In the video, Tweek takes control of a handful of characters, including Ganondorf, and Captain Falcon but most of all giving attention to Bowser’s heir. You can expect intense combo action, pinpoint cannonball accuracy, and some of the cleanest kills with Junior’s Up B that you’ll find anywhere.

We’ve seen plenty of M.O.D.O.K. technology in recent months thanks to Hitbox Arcade’s Dustin, but he’s not the only one spending time in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3’s danger room with the floating acronym. As MythicVerbosity shows in the footage below, they’ve also been labbing it up with this villain and paired him with a couple of heavy hitters to make sure everything runs smoothly.

MythicVerbosity focuses on optimized combos based off a variety of openers that employ a handful of different Dante and Doctor Strange assists to keep the hits flowing. As you’ll soon see, many of these combos generate an absurd amount of meter, but they can also spend it to confirm kills as well.

Over the past week, the folks at YUBIKEN have been uploaded a variety of replays featuring StormKUBO, who currently holds the distinction of being the highest-ranked Hugo in Ultra Street Fighter IV arcades. Apart from his ability to accrue points in game centers, though, many hold the Japanese competitor up as one of the strongest Hugo players in the fighting game community today, if not the best we’ve seen so far.

Because of that, being given a handful of videos to examine is pretty special if you’re a fan of Street Fighter, and they certainly don’t disappoint. Over the course of the four matches, KUBO faces off against YUBIKEN team members KichijojiKEN, Dashio, Shin, and Super Santarou Man, providing a great look at how he approaches those specific matchups.

Is KUBO able to maneuver the lumbering grappler through the pain Ken, Seth, Juri, and Sagat are able to inflict on his gigantic body, or does he succumb to their zoning tactics before smashing them into the turf? You’ll have to watch the videos below to find out!

Level|Up Series returns to the world of tournaments tonight with the first installment of Wednesday Night Fights Online Edition’s second season. After a ton of pre-season action, ESL’s Mortal Kombat X is set to kick into high gear tonight with the season’s very first official tournament. A recent qualifier narrowed the playing field down to sixteen competitors, and those players will be going at each other’s throats tonight to prove they have what it takes to do well in this new arrival to the fighting game community.

Some of the more noteworthy names you can expect to see play tonight include pre-season powerhouse cR|Sonic Fox, Pig of the Hut, REO, cR|Wound Cowboy, and RZR|Perfect Legend, all of whom definitely have a shot at taking home the gold.

The folks over at VGBootCamp recently went live with another installment of Smash @ Xanadu from Xanadu Games in Baltimore, Maryland.
