Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite’s launch roster may have been leaked

This source has blown the cover on Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite news before, so this roster–love it or hate it–has a decent chance of being what we get in September when this game arrives.

NurseLee shows off safe pressure after Season 2 Ken’s Heavy Tatsumaki in Street Fighter V

NurseLee is back, and he’s revisiting Ken’s knockdown pressure in Street Fighter V Season 2.

Ever the setup archaeologist, NurseLee has taken the changes to Ken’s Chinbuster target combo and Heavy Tatsu and turned them into lockdown monsters. These setups all survive after the most recent update, as confirmed by NurseLee himself in the comments:

So in this “New-Patch”, Season 2.5, Capcom so far didn’t make any adjustments on his Heavy Tatsumaki and fortunately just left it alone, which is great in my opinion.

As he notes, these are broken up into quick rise and back rise, the latter of which was something Ken had a lot more trouble dealing with previously.

Playergodaines shows off the damage potential of The King of Fighters XIV’s Ralf

The King of Fighters XIV’s Ralf does so much damage that, as Playergodaines shows, his opponents literately explode.

And it doesn’t require a lot of resources either, seen early on with his 50% mid screen 1 meter combo. This is largely because of the changes he received back in version 2.00, granting him several larger hitboxs and a newly cancelable c.LK. With 5 bars and a corner he gets a number of 950+ damage combos as well. Thanks to the latest health nerfs, that means there are now characters he can kill with one touch.

Hone your murderous intent in this dojo stage mod for Street Fighter V on PC

Two challengers have already failed to defeat the master of this dojo…

If you want to add some more Asian flair to your stage selection in Street Fighter V, you’re in luck–on PC, at least! You can download this great (and grim!) stage mod for free at monkeygigabuster’s DeviantArt page! It replaces either The Grid or the Temple of Ascension.

Xuses shows what the stage looks like in action in the video below. It looks like both Evil Ryu and Oni have fallen victim to the resident of this dojo… who could be that strong…?

Combos, okizeme, and hitbox data for Ed, Street Fighter V’s new “nimble boxer”

The leader of a new Shadaloo (it seems) is already making a splash in Street Fighter V.

sfv ed story mode ending

In the aftermath of Street Fighter V’s 30-hour update, Ed is now officially part of the roster! We already got a taste in the second CFN beta test, so let’s see what the community is up to with the Young Commander now.

Naturally, combo maestro desk is all over a new SFV fighter. Check out a little preview video (where not even a stray Sonic Boom can stop the beatdown), and then desk’s full Ed CMV treatment, full of the crazy combo shenanigans we’re used to:

But Urien has no patience for this upstart: see what happens when Ed’s Psycho Cannon V-Trigger meets the Aegis Reflector in this follow-up video, also from desk.

World Warrior offers this selection of day one combos:

CrossUPDP posted this video showcasing Ed’s max-damage combos:

How about some okizeme? Chariot explores some wakeup pressure options:

Want a closer look at Ed’s hitboxes? alb3530 provides this slow-mo breakdown for your reference:

Going back to the CFN beta days: if you’re interested in the matchup against F.A.N.G, or just want to see some in-game Ed action, check out this captured stream of F.A.N.G versus Ed. Amusing to see new Heavenly Kings taking each other down.

Thanks to everyone that sent in tips!

Each character section is brief and to the point, summarizing their core tools and game plan. The description has time stamps for each character, so you can quickly jump in and check out someone you were interested in.
