As you may already know, Fighting EX Layer is getting a PC port. This port is, of course, getting the graphics options expected of a modern PC game. And ARIKA’s Ichiro Mihara has shared screenshots comparing the differences between the game’s graphical presets.
Based on Mihara’s tweet, Fighting EX Layer on PC has three graphics presets: “Low”, “Mid”, and “Epic”. You can check these out in the gallery below.
In this week’s issue of Jump, Bandai Namco is teasing the next DLC character for My Hero One’s Justice, with a silhouette that seemingly belongs to Inasa Yoarashi.
Known as Gale Force, Inasa is recognizable by his cape, and large glove on his left hand. Both of these are quite noticeable in the silhouette included in the article.
In addition to Inasa, the article also gives us a closer look at Endeavor, the DLC character who’s coming as a pre-order bonus for the Western release.
My Hero One’s Justice is set to hit PlayStation 4, PC, Switch, and Xbox One in the West on October 26.
We’ve seen footage before, but at last Bandai Namco has officially revealed Inferno for SoulCalibur VI.
Soul series veterans should already be familiar with this flaming entity who had previously served as the final boss of the first three games in the series (Soul Edge, SoulCalibur, and Soul Calibur II). It’s unknown if it’ll play the same role in SoulCalibur VI‘s Chronicle of Souls mode, though players who played the final build of the game at TGS have reported that Inferno in unlockable in that mode.
In previous games, Inferno was able to wield the weapons and fighting style of the entire cast. Here however, he’s shown wielding only Nightmare’s version of Soul Edge — but with a number of new moves, many of which seem to have been taken from SoulCalibur III‘s Night Terror. Bandai Namco’s press release seems to indicate that Inferno’s mimicry may not be lost, however:
Inferno, the original antagonist that kicked-off decades of struggle for power in both Soul Blade and SOULCALIBUR returns to SOULCALIBUR VI to wreak havoc and deal death to all challengers. As the evil spirit of Soul Edge, Inferno is fearsome, possessing deep knowledge of fighting techniques which he mimics with uncanny skill, allowing him to use any weapon and fighting style with a phenomenal degree of expertise. Inferno’s power defies standard means of measurement, if one were only comparing skill and weaponry, then Inferno easily transcends any of Soul Edge’s previous vessels.
SoulCalibur VI arrives on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on October 19, 2018.

One of the fun things to do whenever new Dragon Ball FighterZ characters are released is to look at all the references that the designers take from the original manga and anime. IKevinX has been doing exactly this with every character in the game. Now, with the recent released of Android 17 and Cooler, IKevinX returns with once again with videos showcasing the references that Arc System Works put into these characters.
Despite being based on his most recent appearance in Dragon Ball Super, Android 17 still carries a lot of references to his prior appearance in the Cell Saga, as well as a few references to older games based on the franchise.
Cooler on the other hand has a more limited set of material to pull from in the anime (just 2 movies). As such, he carries a lot more references to previous video games. Additionally, some of his references from the anime are from his Meta-Cooler version, instead of the final form version we see in the game.

The most important date of every year for a Virtua Fighter player is almost always going to be whenever the Beat Tribe Cup gets scheduled. This weekend, Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition fans should turn their attention over to Daytona Beach, FL to see a new tournament series with big names and big prizes on the line.
Titans at Daytona, presented by 2050esports, is hosting three events across two days. A free-entry Dragon Ball FighterZ tournament with a $250 prize pool, a 256-player free entry Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition tournament, and a team battle between pro players from the Dominican Republic and Georgia.
When indie developers FK Digital put out freeware fighter Super Cosplay War Ultra in 2004, they used that as part of their resume to eventually entice publisher Arc System Works in 2011. The end result of this was Chaos Code.
In a strange turn of events, FK Digital has now re-branded themselves as “Border Violation” and returned, in a way, to the world of Super Cosplay War Ultra with their latest self-published freeware fighter Angels of Battle.
